Seller's Description

I bought and converted this ambulance a few years ago and have had a lot of amazing trips through desert heat, snow storms and more! This funky girl is a blast to camp in! It is a 2009 Ford E-350 automatic (5.4L gas). Because it's a converted ambulance, a 5'8 person can almost stand upright in the back! I installed a solar panel that works well when charged in direct sunlight and the car has three batteries (some work as backups to jump the car if the primary battery dies). There’s also a ceiling fan. Internally, I installed wood paneling and vinyl floors and lighting on the ceiling. There's room for a fridge and stove (I am willing to sell the fridge separately for and additional $250 but am keeping my camping stove). There’s tons of storage throughout the van including under the bed, along the ceiling as well as within two installed shelves that close to keep things secure. There's space for cooking (room for cutting boards, etc.) and a small pullout table that sits between the front seats. There's also a funky pump sink that gets the job done :) I am selling it for $6,000 even though I put in at least double that amount into it because there are sometimes problems with the batteries. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is but the batteries are draining really quickly and while the car has backup batteries that are enough to get the engine started, I don't use the van enough to get it fixed. To be clear, the last trip I took in this van I had to use the backup batteries almost every time to start the engine. I'm not sure what the issue is and the electrical is really complex because it's an ambulance. I'm sad to see this van go but I want to find someone who will appreciate her more than I do!
