1987 Volkswagon Westfalia- 38K I am selling a 1987 VW Westfalia in pristine condition. Here are some of the features: - Entire body was repainted in Boulder by someone who specializes in the restoration and repair of classic vehicles. He was clear that it was not a restoration, but the body is in the best shape it’s been in MANY years. Rust was removed, all layers of paint stripped, and was repainted in its original color. Completed in September 2022. - Engine was replaced a few years ago and only has approx. 14,000 miles on it. The new engine is a refurbished Go Westy 2.2 liter engine. It runs great and starts smoothly every time, even in cold weather. -Battery replaced a few months ago. - Van is in EXCELLENT mechanical condition. I have had it serviced at Verner’s Auto in Boulder and he can attest to its condition (can connect those who are seriously considering to the mechanic). He recommends a tune up in 5,000 miles. I have all of the records. Last service was in March 2022. - Manual transmission - Pop top (canvas and push bar replaced) provides a full size bed, so sleeps 3 adults comfortably, plus another adult (or 2 kids) on lower bed. - New propane tank - New gasoline tank - Like new tires (they were replaced shortly before I purchased the vehicle in 2020 and I have barely driven it, so they are in excellent condition) - All paperwork available. Has been meticulously maintained over the years. - Stove and fridge work well - Electric plug in as well as water line in functioning condition - Seats 6 (5 with seatbelts) Selling for $38K. Serious inquiries only. Cash or cashier’s check accepted.
