Seller's Description

***Willing to negotiate price if buying van and listed components as a bundle*** Selling a 2021 Mercedes-Benz 2500 Cargo Van, high-top 170” wheelbase as a “Van Life Build-Kit” with only 4,402 miles! This van is effectively brand-new and hasn’t even needed its first oil change. The primary foundations to this project are completed (aka – a handful of difficult tasks are already completed!) and ready for your dream build. I began the process of converting the van this spring and for personal reasons need to part with this amazing project. The Van This van was optioned out from the factory specifically for building a van life project. I wanted as much as could be from the manufacturer as possible to avoid after-market parts, get expert installation, and only pay for what counted – a good base to build the van out, and make driving it to beautiful views in comfort. Options and Features: • Arctic White (best for heat reflection and spare part replacement) • Driver's Comfort Package • Driver's Convenience Package • Swivel Seats • Electric Parking Brake • Roof Rails (for solar or deck) • 7” Touchscreen w/ Apple CarPlay • Full-Blade wet wiper system • Electric Heated Windshield • Rain Sensor • 5000lbs Tow Package • All-season tires • 270-degree wide-open back doors • Tinted windows • Acoustic package The Build The project was given a careful start to give design flexibility and durability. No decisions have yet been made that would lock you into any specific layout. You will be able to instantly begin running wires and building cabinets with minimal “foundation” work remaining. If you want to take on this project but are apprehensive about some of the scarier parts of the build (installing windows, fans, drilling sheet metal) – this is the perfect point to hand-off and let you take over for your dream van build to suit your needs! With YouTube and Google anything past this point is well within reach for DIY. Work Completed: • 2x additional fixed windows installed • 2x MaxxAir fans with custom 3d printed fittings (adds significant durability) • scribed and insulated 3/4” maple plywood subfloor • wheel-well covers • scribed over-the-cab shelf (with crown moulding! A plain plywood shelf will be offered as well if you don’t care for the style) • painstakingly installed 150+ 6mm rivnuts (giving bolt mounting points to create stud-work, far superior to screwing into the sheet metal for build durability) o railing system installed as universal mounting system with recessed holes for bolts • Kilmat sound deadening mat • Optional (depending on if you want it): scribed 1/2” maple plywood cab partition Optional Accessories for sale (+$9,000) Also, if you're interested, I have already purchased a large number of components needed to outfit the van. I have an immense number of hours invested in researching these components for their various trade-offs and spared no expense. And since I purchased many of these components a year ago I bought them at a lower price than what can be purchased today with the pains of inflation and the rest (my estimate looking online is $1,750 in savings!). There will be additional things needed to be purchased to complete the build but the majority of the most expensive are included in this “kit.” I would be happy to negotiate the price if purchasing both components and the van together. Accessories: · 400W Solaria Solar Panel (unused) · Battle Born and Victron Battery Setup (unopened) o 3x 100AH Battle Born Lithium Batteries (with heat kit) o 3000W Victron Inverter o Alternator Isolator Charger o Various other components · Espar S2-D2L Diesel Heater with full-install kit (unopened) · 400 sqr ft Havlock Wool Insulation (unopened) · Nature’s Head Composting Toilet (unopened) · Dometic CFX3 95DZ 12V Fridge (used once) · WeatherTech Rubber Mats · ProClip iPhone mount All manufacturer warranties will transfer upon title change, but between the seller and the buyer this will be sold “as-in” with no additional warranties or guarantees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional information. Only serious inquiries, please. Thanks!
