"Primitive but pretty" this Ford Econoline 250 is ready for your weekend road trips. No running water or heating, this van is built with quick getaways in mind for climbers, hikers, and anyone who wants to keep things stealth from the outside and stunning on the inside. FAQ -147k Miles on the engine. -This van is not 4x4, it is RWD, as most converted work vans tend to be. -The bed is best for people 5'8" and under, especially if you plan on sleeping two. 6' can fit diagonally. -She is an old van but we have put a ton of work and I fully expect her to run for another 100k or so. The body is in great shape for its age. -Reasonable offers will be considered. The Build: -Blue stain pine and poplar finishes -Waterproof luxury vinyl flooring -Large under bed storage -Custom modified full bed with easy under-bed access (sleeps 2- 5'9" or less ideally!) -Slide out desk/counter space -Foam-board insulation in walls and ceiling -Optional primitive cook system, water, cooler -MAXX Deluxe Rooftop Air Fan - 200w Renogy solar panels & controller - 200ah AGM Battery -Renogy battery BT monitor -1000w inverter -Six dimming lights w/ two undercabinet lights The Van: -Mileage: engine 147k; body 342k (engine rebuilt) -Powerful V8 Triton Engine -No structural rust, light cosmetic rust -AC/Heat work -Aftermarket Stereo (BT is showing an error, but plays from your phone with a cord!) -Runs excellently, mechanically sound -Regularly scheduled maintenance -Slow oil pan gasket leak -Slow coolant leak -The timing belt will need replacing in the next ~20k mi -Seatbelt sensor needs replacing, the airbag is disabled so it doesn’t ding constantly. -Engine was replaced around 195k miles; the body has 342k on it. -Rear weatherstripping could use some replacing at some point (we have a quote from the dealer) -Small crack in the windshield -Recent mechanic records & carfax ready to hand over Recent work done: -Three-Peak rated snow tires <5000mi -Brand new Battery -Recent Oil Change -Catalytic Converter Replacement -Power Steering line replacement -Transmission Pan gasket replacement -Valve Cover Gasket replacement -Brake Service (front & back)
