Moving very soon and dont have room to take with me. Recently finished camper conversion on this 2000 Dodge Ram Van 5.2L. Just got back from a 600+ mile road trip with no issues. 104,000 miles. Clean Title. The build... Custom slide out bed that can fit two. Built for myself (6’3”) I fit comfortably. It is 80 inches long and can pull out to 50 inches wide. Full insulation, R6 for floor and walls with R3 for the ceiling. Electrical- Two deep cycle batteries 170 aH charged with split charge relay (Batteries charge when van is running and automatically cuts off when turned off. So you can completly drain the extra batteries without draining the starter battery. Solar can also be added to this setup easily), 2000W AC inverter, 12 fuse DC panel, Maxxair fan, led interior lights, and 20 quart fridge/freezer. I've ran all electics for a few days without recharging and never had any issues, Could probably go a week+ without starting and charging. Water- TMC galley water foot pump, stainless steel sink and faucet, 7 gallon grey water tank, and two 6 gallon clean water tanks. Mechanical- Great running engine and smooth transmission. At 100k- new alternator, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt and tensioner. Also transmission pan so new filter and fluid. Just replaced both front wheel bearings and ABS/speed sensor. Have reciepts for everything except alternator. AC blows cold and heat is hot, has original secondary heater in back. Gets 13-16 MPG. Has normal MN rust on rocker panels but overall very solid.
