Hello, future van owner! Welcome to this adventure-ready 4 season van, ready to go when you are! We built this Promaster out with a lot of thought and care going into every design and build choice, and it shows! From the super open and functional layout, to the hidden tv screen, to the counter height fridge/freezer, every part of living in this build out is comfortable and easy. Diversity was also an important goal of this build; it is made for living off the grid, but also would do well in your friend's driveway, in the city, or at an rv park! This van has lots of water storage (40 gallons!) and options for showering both inside and outside with hot water! This is the largest Promaster you can buy, and it still maneuvers easily and fits in a normal sized parking space! And at a clearance height less that 9’4”, you still get that standing space you need and low step in height without the worry of hitting low bridges and tree branches along your journey. We've lived in this van full time for nearly 2 years and never had a major issue with our build. We spent winters in both northern New England and the Colorado mountains and stayed super warm and comfortable with our propane, externally vented heater (our van does well driving in the snow!). The rest of the time we've been in and out of hot and cool, dry and humid areas, and we're always quite comfortable thanks to having few windows, great insulation, and 2 10 speed roof fans with rain covers and exhaust/intake features, so air is always circulating even on rainy or snowy days. We've carried bikes, an inflatable paddleboard, backpacking gear, climbing gear, and ski and snowboarding gear in this van, all at once! You'll even have plenty of room to sit up in bed, and there are two spaces for clothing storage over your feet there where we each stored our year-round wardrobe. While in bed, enjoy seeing the stars through the skylight or cover it up with the shade and sleep in late. This van was truly built for two, so whether you're traveling solo or want to have an adventure partner along side you, you will still feel like you have plenty of personal space. Additionally, our van is dog and cat approved! Plenty of floor space between the bench and the passenger seat to lay out a large dog bed, and pets also can easily access the queen bed using the bench as a step up. Even after two years meeting other vanlifers and seeing other builds- we still think ours is functionally the best! It has an abundance of solar capabilities and battery capacity, it's very well insulated, and the fridge can hold many days of food and is so easy to use at counter height and is even accessible from the passenger's seat while driving (road ice cream anyone?)! We even built out a second van almost exactly the same for friends who also live in theirs full time and love it! And by the way, we refreshed the whole suspension system and kept up with regular oil changes and check ups, so we’re sure this van still has so many miles to go! We're happy answer any questions, and to give in-person tours or video tours for those farther away. Let's chat!!
