For sale, lifted, unused, professionally built campervan on a 2020 Ford Transit AWD 250 platform. This van was built professionally by Tommy Campervans out of Phoenix AZ, it has a custom layout and was professionally painted to “Cement” color. The lift and off-road wheels and tires were purchased and installed by LetzRoll offroad in Phoenix AZ. **I've received a few questions on why I built this on a Transit platform instead of a Sprinter. The main reason is the availability of the dealer network, no matter where you go and what small town you pass through there will always be a Ford dealer nearby, not so with Mercedes. The Ford AWD platform is also used in other Ford vehicles and are OEM parts, so availability of parts is never a problem. The Mercedes 4x4 prior to 2023 model years is built and installed by a third-party, so no Mercedes dealers carries any 4x4 parts.** The Van has the following features: Headroom of 6'5" in Van Interior Heated indoor shower 600amp/hour Lithium iron phosphate battery bank Dometic Air Conditioner RTX2000 Eberspacher gasoline line heater (taps into the fuel tank, no refilling EVER) Heated outdoor shower 30 gallon water tank shore power hookup 200W solar panels Dometic refrigerator CRX-1110 Ruvati stainless steel sink Propane stovetop Convertible dinette/office into sleeping area Large storage capacity under benches and in custom overhead cabinets Recessed lighting Swivel Driver & Passenger chairs Flip-up counter-extension/table Walkable Rooftop deck Custom Tommy Campervans Roof Rack 360 degrees exterior lights 270 degree opening rear doors Climbable ladder on rear driver-side door Reversible deluxe Maxxair fan Method wheels BFGoodrich KO2 off-roading tires VanCompass AWD Transit lift (Installed professionally by LetzRoll in Phoenix AZ) It currently has ~12,400 miles on the vehicle and the build was completed in June 2022. I was building it for an upcoming sabbatical I had planned, and was let go from my company before I could take it. I took it on 2 day trips never overnight, and do not have the time or flexibility to enjoy it now. I have over $80,000 invested into this vehicle plus the vehicle purchase price of $56,000. I have receipts and warranties for all services, appliances, and the van still has the transferable factory warranty. I purchased the Van in November of 2021 after having placed a non-refundable deposit for the 6 month backlog that Tommy Campervans had at the time (it is now up to 8-9 months). Save yourself the hassle of building it out yourself, and come see my van!
