Seller's Description

Say hello to Gypsum! She's a 2014 RAM Promaster 3500 with a 159" wheelbase. Built out for full-time living or weekend adventures, she's fully equipped with the amenities to make this a true home away from home, all while being ready for constant fun. Gypsum's priorities are comfort, cooking, and adventure, which make her a dream. I built this van myself and lived in it for about a year, but am now ready to (reluctantly) hand over the keys to a new owner. I am selling the van because I recently started my own van building and remodeling business, and would like to invest in the business to help it scale. (www.dicotdesigns.com) So many of the vans out there look incredibly similar - boring and sterile. I wanted to build a van that felt warm, spacious, unique, and homey. I absolutely love this van, and know that its new owner will too! Regarding the vehicle itself: I have taken great care of it. I've been meticulous with oil changes (full synthetic). The tires, brakes and rotors were replaced within the last 20,000 miles. The tires are Falken WildPeak AT3's - great for dirt and snow, and have the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake. The front suspension was just replaced last week for the new owner. I've had no real issues with this van and have really loved its reliability. As for the build itself, I'll break it down into three sections: Comfort: -Fully insulated, with a mix of foam board insulation and wool. -Propex heat system with thermometer and timer options. I've gone through some below zero nights in this van with no problem. I also like the Propex system because it is more reliable at high elevation than the Webasto and Espar heat systems. -A soft, dream-like full size bed that you'll prefer over your home mattress - seriously! -Bed-side 12V Sirocco fan with three speed and timer settings to keep you cool at night -Two lagun tables in the van for extra counter space/workspace -12 speed MaxxAir Fan above kitchen area for great airflow -2.5 gallon cassette toilet - easy to use and has never smelled. -A collapsible hot shower system via a 2.5 gallon electric hot water heater and with a quick-connect hose. You can take nice hot showers inside the van at the ski resort, or take one outside on a hot desert day! -Two-zone, dimming puck lights in the cabin and and two-zone, dimming LED strip lights by the bed and kitchen -VanEssential insulated blackout window covers for all windows for and privacy and insulation -GoalZero Yeti 1500x power system with 144 Ah of lithium. I lived full time in the van working a 9-5 and never had an issue with power, even when I was on the east coast in the middle winter. -A cubby next to the bed to store your favorite books and essentials Cooking: -Powerful two-burner gas cooktop to make some delicious meals -Super spacious12V TruckFridge TF130 fridge so you can stock up on all the food and beer your heart desires -Tons of drawer space with pots, pans, utensils, and more -Spice rack on the butcher block countertop for easy access! -Large, deep sink with hose sprayer faucet to make cleaning the dishes a breeze! -25 gallon fresh water tank allows for less stress with water usage -7 gallon gray water tank which is super easy to dump -Wide counter space designed for the realities of cooking -The van comes with all of the utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc etc so you don't have to spend tons of money on outfitting the van, and relieves stress when you are packing for the weekend. Adventure: -Large Falken Wildpeak tires for confidence on and off the road -GoTread tire traction treads if you're in a pinch - they also double as leveling blocks! -Large, spacious garage can house SO much gear. -Sliding bike tray can hold two bikes, up to two large framed 29" mountain bikes -Solar panels and alternator charger mean you can go off grid for days with confidence Let me know if you have any questions at all! There will also be a van tour/interview video on the Nate Murphy YouTube channel in a few weeks which I will share once it is available.
