I am the original owner and I did the conversion. My idea was to do a minimalist conversion making this van suitable for people that do not need/wish for every creature comfort. Mechanically, the van is sound. No issues and all maintenance done on schedule. Currently the van has a set of studless winter tires that perform amazingly well on this RWD van during my long Alaska winter. In addition I also have another complete set of summer tires with 5,000 miles on them. Features built into van include: Webasto heater 22 gal fresh water tank with pump MaxxAir Van Storage Galore Full Size bed that converts into Dining table Towing package Auxiliary Batteries for powering Wabasto, lights, fan and water pump. Fully insulated Magnet Window Coverings Block heater This van has been a great base camp for kicking off all of my Alaskan adventures.
