Sold - 2000 Chevy Express 1500 Conversion Van Camper

I’ll do my best to describe this van, but please contact me if you have any questions. This van belongs to my mom and dad. They bought it new. It was built in 2000 and Cobra did the conversion in 2001. It was a demonstrator that had about 5000 miles from the dealer on it when they bought it. My dad did the camper conversion. He hand built all of the cabinetry himself. They are guessing they have spent about 700 nights in this van. Aside from that, it has always been stored indoors and needs nothing. They took it on one last trip a week ago and, as they are close to their 80‘s, decided it was time to give up this form of travel. Mechanically it is in great shape. It has 210,000 miles on it. There are no service lights on. I couldn’t find any rust or any damage to the interior. It really is in remarkable condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave on a trip today. They never hesitated on maintenance. My cousin is a technician at a GM dealership and he did most of the work. The 4th seat is included and can be reinstalled in place of the cabinet. The rear bench seat is under the mattress/platform in the back. The TV and mount are removable as well. We are asking $10,000, but it was hard to come up with any comparable sales. I’m willing to consider offers. Maybe even a trade for something fun. I like Swiss watches and motorcycles! We have a clear title in hand.
