Seller's Description

2015 Diesel Ford Transit 250 148" Wheel Base Medium Roof, 135k miles, gets about 18MPH fully loaded. **We are willing to consider offers! We want this van to go to someone who will love it, make it their own, and have amazing travels in it.** Meet Bendigo! We love this van, but have bought a cabin and have been traveling less. Bendi is getting bored sitting in our driveway. We have been able to be off-grid in this van for up to 3 weeks at a time without needing to dump or fill water. It is the perfect get-away adventure vehicle or full-time vanlife home. Clean title in hand and regularly serviced, oil changes every 5000 miles with full synthetic Ford Diesel: Ford has stopped making diesel transits for the US market, so they are becoming hard to find. A well cared for Diesel engine(and this one has definitely been) can typically be expected to have a much longer life than a gas vehicle. Additionally, being Ford means you will always be able to find a place nearby to service your vehicle or do repairs. The size: 148” wheel base means that this van fits into a normal parking space so parking is never an issue, which can be especially helpful when exploring cities. It also has a great turn radius. Room for full size mattress (not included), bed length is 6’ Medium roof with an interior standing height 5’8” Seats 2. Sleeps 2. The water: 30 Gallon Fresh Water Tank 20 Gallon Gray Waste Tank 2 Gallon accumulator tank and water pump Tank sensors and timer switch for hot water heater (if installed) Plumbed and wired for a hot water heater. We had one installed but it was not an easy one to winterize, so we removed it. If you plan on staying in warm climates and want the hot water heater with the van, just let us know. Additional Living Space Features: Dimmable LED lights Swivel Passenger Seat for those cozy ‘living room’ vibes. Outdoor flip-down table for outdoor cooking or resting a coffee mug. Large garage Cedar tongue and groove ceiling and accent walls Waterproof Vinyl Floor Insulated with Safe-And-Sound, denim, and foam board (1” thick floor insulation for all season travel) The Cab/Van’s Features: Backup camera Radio/CD player/AUX port 8 CUP HOLDERS! Towing hitch, so you can take your ATVs and bikes with you. Power windows/locks The loo: Vented Composting Toilet which drains to gray tank so you are never emptying a pee-jug or worrying about over-filling! Little medicine cabinet built into the wall. The kitchen: Dual sided Fridge/Freezer Portable single burner induction cook top Sink doubles as outdoor shower when the faucet is spun and the nozzle is placed thought the window Storage: In the bedroom: 2 drawer dresser, three door upper cabinet In the kitchen: Cabinets include two door upper storage with a 4 drawer cabinet and a large single door storage area below. In the main living space: Large storage area beneath bench, perfect for storing laundry, shoes, compost materials, etc. Electrical: USB plugs and standard outlets installed 500 watts of solar on a custom made roof-rack 24v 200Ah batteries (equivalent to 400Ah at 12v). Lithium Ion. 3000W inverter You could have an alternator charger or shore power installed, but we have never ran out of power from just the solar or felt the need to install anything extra. Heating/Cooling: 5k Diesel heater, also heats the garage to prevent water and pipes from freezing. Diesel fed from the tank with a cutoff at 1/4 tank, so you’ll never have your tank drained by the heater Maxx Air fan, can be ran to pull in or push out air. Horizontal sliding windows on both sides of van for cross-breeze and ventilation The tires/brakes: Tires new in 2020, Toyo All Terrain, see photo, they are 1” larger than stock tires. New high performance brakes installed earlier this year. The Cosmetics: You may have noticed that back right door. It is a solid fix but is not the prettiest. This is from tapping a commercial garbage can. We were quoted by a Ford dealer in Texas $1500 to have a new door, have it painted to match, and installed. The front windshield has a crack. We bought it this way and have spent two years traveling in it with the windshield like this. It doesn’t leak or whistle or anything, so we’ve just never bothered with it.
