Seller's Description

2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 144 Wheelbase, High Roof Miles: 53,600 Color: White Drive Type: RWD Transmission: Automatic Engine: 6 Cyl 3.0 L Fuel: Diesel This is Ursula. She is a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter with roughly 54K miles and a clean Carfax (no accidents-can share the original from when I purchased if desired). It is the 144 inch wheelbase, has a high roof, is a 3.0L V6 Diesel, and is RWD. I am just under 6 foot and stand up inside easily. Ursula and I are breaking up because I am looking to be a camp host this fall and need a travel trailer instead of a van. I would love to keep her, because she is reliable, well built, comfortable, and stealthy, but we just do not align on our long-term goals. She just got her 50K mile service and had new tires put on over the winter. I am the second owner of the van and did the build out myself during the pandemic. She was a fleet vehicle before I saved her and does have a few larger scratches from those fleet days, but nothing rusted or to worry about. With the low miles and dependability of the diesel engine, this van has years of travels ahead. I am not in a rush and do not need to sell the van today, so please do not make a low ball offer. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out with questions or to set up a time to check her out. Below you will find a list of things installed throughout the build out to help tell you a little more about her. This list is not exhaustive but will hopefully show the care and thought put into the build: Insulation (Walls and floor): Walls insulated with Adventure Wagon Insulation Kit ($1,200) which includes 85 pieces of laser-cut 3M #710 GSM Automotive Thinsulate (60 linear feet, double black scrim, double embossed, 44mm lofted thickness). Floor was insulated initially with a Minicell .30 Floor Insulation to fill the ribs in the bottom of the floor. The second layer is a Minicell .5 Floor Insulation. After insulation I installed a .5 inch baltic birch for the flooring. This is then covered with a vinyl sheet flooring from Home Depot. After the walls were insulated, they were framed and covered with a wall paneling. Bed/Dinette: Very similar to RVs, Ursula has a table pedestal to convert from the U-shaped dinette to a nearly Queen size bed. The table is on a gas powered table pedestal ($400). The pedestal is topped with a Rustic Hickory Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop ($300) purchased from Hardwood Lumber Co. A queen size 8 inch thick memory foam mattress was used to create the cushions you see in the photos. I purchased fabric and had custom covers made for each one of the cushions. They have a zipper for easy swapping of the mattress and cleaning of the covers. Seating: Sprinter Scopema Seat Swivel ($399) for the passenger seat. Driver side does not have it. Storage: Vancillary Headliner Shelf ($129) made with baltic birch is above the cab and creates a nice place to store items that are routinely needed. Additionally, I installed a Decked drawer system ($1,500) which was laid as the foundation for the bed platform. The pull out drawers provide tons of storage for long trips. Ursula also has additional storage on the passenger side sliding door and both rear doors. They were purchased online ($250) and provide more storage options. Within the back of the van, there is tons of storage. The benches on each side of the van have built-in storage, including one massive sliding drawer slider you can see in the photos is being used as a pantry. Overall, this thing has tons of storage for all the gear and items you want to take on the road. Windows: Two CRL WV31031 ($650) windows installed, one on each rear door. They are properly sealed and are insulated with window covers ($250). Each window cover is made from ripstop nylon for the exterior, two thin layers of Thinsulate (3 season covers) on the inside of the cover, and the interior is another layer of ripstop nylon. It has sewn horizontal lines with magnets sewn inside to fold up the window covers for storing them in the window when you are done with them. They work great and look nice. Additionally the drive and passenger windows in the cab of the van were tinted by AutoHaus Boulder ($300). This provides great protection from the sun and privacy when driving or parked. Solar: Ursula is NOT wired for solar, but it would be an easy addition for someone. I have been running power off of a Yeti Goal Zero 1500, that is not included in the sale of the van. This portable power pack does a great job charging small items like phones, laptops, and the Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe 5100K that is installed ($300).
