I have a 1986 GMC Bluebird short bus... 18 foot long, 4 window. Mechanical Plus's: Engine has had full overhaul, Transmission is brand new with less than 3 thousand miles on it, Brake system from master cylinder to pads including lines have been completely replaced with brand new parts and have less than 3 thousand miles on them. Mecanical problems: Dash board does not light up, the rest is good. Conversion.... Mounted propane stove, Queen size bed space, LED interior lighting, Running water in mounted sink, Storage space, "Secret Secure" space for those things you want to keep, two 150w solar panels with full assembly gear and operational tied to 2 deep cycle marine batteries, Stereo, carpeting, nightstand, black out windows, comes with portable toilet for legals, and has had a lot of love, care and attention paid to it. I have used this vehicle many times over the years. It is great in the summer camping up at Ruth or along the Smith River, It has a very cozy inviting feeling to it, and is perfect for outings and vacations. It's size allows for camping in most basic camping spots and will even handle some light off roading if you can handle the noise lol. One thing I was always pleased with was the ability to park almost anywhere without having the ass end hanging out in traffic or having to find those special spots cause i was too big. She is a work in progress though: but not as bad as you think... she is 100% operational but has some asthetic things like paint and personal touch to finish.
