Updates 11/27 - getting a ton of messages and thought I’d post a couple of recurring themes from conversations I’ve had: - no rust on undercarriage, and it has an undercoat - it’s important to me that this van continues to bring adventures to people for a long time (im kind of a sucker so tell me your story) - I intentionally priced this to sell as I’m moving to a stage of life that isn’t as conducive to just hitting the road and living in a vehicle sometimes - Kelly blue book values the van empty at 30-35k and there are easily nearly 15k worth of components - there have NEVER been mechanical problems with this van (CAN PROVIDE CARFAX, service records, whatever you want - the absolute last thing I want is for the next owner to feel like they didn’t get a great deal, I only want positive thoughts and memories as it relates to this van. They say you shouldn’t have emotion involved in a transaction and I’d usually agree but that isn’t how this one is going to go for me) ************************************************** This has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Two very important pragmatic things guided this build: 1. 98% of the time you’re in the van you’re either driving or sleeping. Because of this I chose a big comfortable bed as my top priority. The tables look cool and they sound cool, but they make for an uncomfortable nights sleep and they don’t get used. No one hangs out inside their van in real life. 2. An indoor shower that you can stand up in and has hot water. There is nothing (NOTHING) more refreshing than a hot shower at camp after a day of hiking and then climbing into bed squeaky clean. I’ve loved this van - second owner, bought from the same dealership that it was originally purchased at, and serviced at every 5k miles (until I bought it). I’ve kept up with all service and preventive maintenance. Recent tires / brakes / anything else that was recommended. Service history is immaculate. Features: - full bathroom with vented composting toilet and shower with hot water heater - 12v electrical system with LED lights and plenty of chargers - 200ah battery, will accept solar panels (plug and play) I’ve thought about buying a solar suitcase - but I’ve never needed it. It currently charges from the (upgraded 250amp) alternator while you drive. I’ve had it sit 3-4 days while using all components and the lowest I’ve run the battery is around 65% - full kitchen with sink stove oven and refrigerator - queen sized+ bed (bit bigger than a queen but smaller than a king) - plenty of storage - upgraded the radio to CarPlay with touchscreen - propane heater, hot water heater, stove, oven - wall fan and ceiling exhaust fan for plenty of circulation. Have never had a hot or cold nights sleep in this thing
