This Ford Transit is built out for camping and we have done so for nearly four years with our family of FIVE and Blue heeler. This Family Van will come with a Snowmaster 70L dual compartment fridge/freezer that’s on a pull out slide, a couple huge storage bins with movable dividers, the cot we use on the front seats for one of the kids’ beds, a comfy memory foam mattress, a bench seat that sits 3, and the baby/toddler bed we think fits perfectly in this space. Front passenger seat seat is on a swivel. The bench backseat can easily be removed for the trips that need more storage space or even to move furniture! Maintenance has been competed regularly: -Oil changes every 10k miles per maintenance indicator dash light. Mobil1 full synthetic extended performance oil. -Completely trouble free engine and transmission -Brand NEW B.F. Goodrich KO2 tries with a full size matching spare -Brake pads replaced 6k miles ago Power system: -2 125amp-hr deep cycle AGM batteries; both charged by van’s alternator (while you drive) through a battery isolator - The isolator ensures the vehicle starter battery is sufficiently charged before charging house batteries - house batteries power Maxxfans (2), interior fan (for thr rear passenger seats), interior lights (except stock lights over front seats), v12 fridge/freezer, and 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter In the pictures we have shown how we sleep with our 3 kids in the van. We also show where we put our dog kennel when we’re traveling. You will love the huge “garage” under the bed for all of your gear storage. That’s where we kept our water jugs, cooking equipment, camp chairs, little odd and ends, etc. The shelf at the end of the bed was used for clothes storage.
