Seller's Description
I am selling this van because I need cash before August. Really hate to part with it. Will travel for a serious buyer. [General Information] 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 (Mercedes Components) -170 WB (not-extended), 23 feet -214k miles -Diesel Engine (longevity: up to 500k miles) -Recently serviced and maintained at Mercedes shop that specializes in Sprinter Vans -Ownership history: My friends purchased the used commercial van and converted it themselves in 2018. I am the second owner after the conversion, and selling because I am job hunting and need the cash. I put about $5000 into replacing the turbo control module/computer and some of the sensors, but that has been the only repair after putting about 15k miles on it traveling the western US. Warranty on this repair is 2 years. [Van Purpose] -Comfort: Designed to comfortably (relative to tiny-house living) accommodate 2 people, which means features like: -10-in thick Queen Mattress -Bed Orientation – where both people can exit at the foot of the bed -His & Her Closets – we each have our own clothing and accessory storage -Lagun Swivel table – for meals, games, web-surfing -MaxxAir Fan – for air-in and out-ventilation [Resource Independence] -Option to be truly off-grid for about a week, with features such as: -25-gallon water tank -Water Pump + 3 stage water filtration system -Dometic Fridge/Freezer Combo -360 W solar (2 Grape Solar 180W panels) -Goal Zero 1400 Yeti Battery (to operate water pump, interior lights, fridge/freezer, and electronics) [Electrical-Related] -360W of solar power (2 180W grape solar panels in parallel) -Goal Zero Yeti 1400 Lithium battery -130 amp hours of energy (aka 1400 watt hours) -1500 watt inverter -Wifi connection for monitoring and control -750 W alternator charger (this allows for the battery to stay charged on cloudy days while running the engine) -Eberspacher 12-V Diesel Heater Installed but currently not functioning. We used a space heater sparingly, and were fairly comfortable sleeping without it at below freezing temps. [Water-Related] -25 gallon fresh water tank -Hose connection for easy filling from a normal outdoor faucet -7- gallon grey water tank -Electric water pump for on-demand water -Outdoor shower hose connection in back of van [Kitchen-Related] -Kraus 18”x18”x10” Stainless Steel Sink -Dometic CFX 75DZ Fridge Freezer -Gas ONE Propane/Butane Stove -Magic Chef Countertop Microwave -48” Kitchen Countertop with Black/Brown Wood Finish [Adventure/Storage] -We are mountain bikers and love the outdoors, so we had to make sure we had enough designated storage space for our gear, which means features and space like: -Slide out tray for 2 bikes (29″ wheels ok) -Ample storage space under the bed (eg. 6 Large Home Depot Utility Storage Containers for camping gear, grilling equipment, tools for van construction, and spare toiletries) [Stealth Camping] We wanted to spend a lot of time in nature, but we also like to visit cities and prefer to not be obviously camping in the car. This van is comfortable on the inside and looks like a regular van a contractor would use from the outside: -No visible signs of RV campers from the outside (except for solar panels and fan on top of the van, which aren’t super visible from eye level at night) -Blackout curtain and velcro allow you to have the lights on inside and not have people notice you outside
