Entirely custom built, this van has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Here’s the story: The van itself was a commercial vehicle until it was traded in at a dealership in 2019 with 187,000 miles on it. The dealership noticed wear on the engine, and replaced it before selling it. The chassis now has 225,220 miles on it, so about 39,000 miles on the new engine. A new radiator was installed last summer. The tires, wheels, and suspension are all new as of when it was purchased for a build out. I had it inspected in December – it is very mechanically sound with no issues. No rust. There is a 'license plate light out' warning that sometimes comes on -- there are no lights out, but yet this warning stays on. I asked about it during the inspection and the dealership couldn't figure it out either. The van's built in AC works great! I rarely ever have it past medium and I live in the desert. Never had an issue with the engine overheating. The entire build was custom-designed and was executed with help from professional welders, woodworkers, and electricians with the idea to do everything right the first time so it wouldn’t have to be revisited later. The platform bed is on a pulley system and lifts up to unveil a suspended table and seating (comfortably for 4 adults, though I have fit more cozily). The table can also be lifted up out of the way to store things like bikes, a small dirtbike, etc, or can be lowered to create bunk beds. I recently upgraded the bed to a 6 inch memory foam mattress. Because the bed is situated widthwise, I would recommend that the buyer is under 6’ to sleep comfortably, although I’ve let taller friends borrow it and sleep diagonally with no complaints. I wanted a van that could handle winter ski trips with my dog and keep me warm and safe on icy roads! An AWD/4x4 van was out of my budget, and I chose a Promaster because they are front wheel drive. I drove this all over the Sierras and Lake Tahoe region this winter and had zero issues! The beefy tires do help with that. Never got stuck and never had to chain up. I do have sets of chains that I will include with sale, they are brand new but needed to carry them because of chain laws. The Propex heater works great and lasts about 4 days of nonstop running at high heat, or 7 days of medium heat. In the summer, the maxxfan and great insulation help keep it cool. My dog loves this van :) Overall, this van is in impeccable cosmetic condition. There is a patch of chipped paint on the gas cap (about $40 to replace, just never bothered me enough to do it), and a few small dings and chips on the hood of the van. See pictures for these. I’m sure that I’m missing details, so if you have any questions please reach out. If there’s something that you want your van to have, chances are that this one has it and I forgot to list it. I never thought I would be writing an ad for this van, but life happens. I would love to see it go to a home that would love it as much as I did! Asking $38,000 OBO – Located in Elko, Nevada. I have the title in hand and ready to sell. Thanks for looking. Please text or call with any questions -- I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
