LOTS MORE PHOTOS ON CRAIGSLIST https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/rvs/d/sebastopol-custom-van-conversion-low/7520588303.html 2018 Nissan NV2500 SV, 5.6 liter V8 / 55,000+ miles Still under warranty through the end of 2022. 5 years/100,000 miles Introducing the WonderVan! Includes: BRAND NEW All terrain tires Backup camera Tow package (and this van can tow!) Power windows and locks Cruise control Bluetooth After many years of research into vanlife, why did I choose the Nissan over the more popular vans (Sprinter, ProMasters, etc.)? In one word, RELIABILITY. Nissans are known for their soundness. None of the other vans out there have this solid reputation. Also, after 4 years of use, she’s still under warranty. Last, but not least, she’s built on a Titan chassis and can tow significant weight. Nissan stopped making these vans in 2021, yet they assured me there’s no future problems with getting parts for them because they’re actually a Titan truck underneath. She is not a 4WD. However, if you have common sense, drive carefully and are of the courageous sort you can find yourself in the midst of the wild desert or forest without others around you, which was an absolute dream for me. The WonderVan and I spent time in Arizona and New Mexico where the quiet and solitude of the desert wilderness were so deeply nourishing, I feel it re-wired my brain and made me more human again. We traveled over craggy Colorado mountain passes and were gifted with natural hot springs, snow melt rivers and stunning beauty ... balm for an over-civilized soul. So, why am I moving on from vanlife? Life circumstances shift and change and I find it necessary to be rooted in one area for a bit. I’m also itching to start a second, smaller build for weekend trips. It is my hope that she becomes your trusty companion for an enriching, wonderful adventures! But, enough of my story, envision your own ... THE BUILD - built with love, care and a sense of adventure BASICS *Sound deadened throughout, including entire floor of living area *Walls insulated with Havelock Wool *Ceiling insulated with Foamular XPS Rigid Foam Board *All new wood used was FSC certified *Non-toxic stains and paint *Cork flooring SOLAR AND ELECTRIC *Two 100 watt Renogy Solar Panels (rooftop rack mounted) *Yeti 1500X Goal Zero Solar Generator *LED rechargeable puck lights throughout *LED motion sensor puck lights to light up the back recesses of cabinets *Oodles of USB charge ports & the Solar Generator has 110 power for fun things like small blenders, etc. HEATING AND COOLING *MaxxFan Deluxe 7500K with remote *Propex HS2000 heater with digital thermostat, works like a charm even when it got down into the teens the few nights in Tucson *CR Laurence awning window on sliding door for ventilation KITCHEN *Beautiful butcher block counter tops with removable cutting board *Deep, stainless steel sink & faucet + in-counter soap dispenser *Dometic 12V cooler/fridge *Stainless steel cooktop with very large drawer & cabinets underneath *Multiple upper shelves *Shurflo water pump for running water *5 gallon under sink grey water tank *6 gallon under sink fresh water tank *20 lb propane tank in ventilated cabinet with propane leak detector *Deadbolt ‘hatch’ door between cab and living area. Plenty of room to add your creative flair! *There are some unfinished areas that could use a coat of paint. I’m including the paint. *There are a few small dings/scratches from being in the backwoods, etc. Sometimes it’s the cost of getting out of civilization. Most scratches could likely be buffed out. Please, only serious inquiries. With your payment in full to my bank, she’s yours! The WonderVan will be set up for viewing ‘open house’ style on several August weekend days in Sebastopol, CA and I am open to doing a Zoom or FaceTime tour if necessary.
