This van could be your next adventure mobile. This Rear wheel drive, 250 diesel gets about 21 MPG on the highway if you keep it under 68mph. It is a medium roof. Not hi roof. Inside height is about 5.9. She runs great and drives great. It has full custom cabinetry, 2 burner propane range, dometic truck fridge, electric water system with 20 gallon fresh water tank, pressure accumulator and under sink charcoal filter. The sink can drain directly out or to a gray water tank. It has 300 watts of solar with a charging regulating panel and a smart isolator for charging the 100 Ah AGM battery (which requires no maintenance and is very inexpensive to replace). The fuse box is near the battery. The isolator can be manually switched on to start the van off the house battery, should the van starting batteries need a jump. This van is also equipped with a charging inverter that can be plugged in to shore power using a standard 3 prong extension cable. This van is also equipped with a webasto diesel furnace that has kept me warm in minus 20 conditions in the winter. The fuel sipping straw draws straight from the vehicle's fuel tank and only reaches to half way, so you cannot strand yourself, despite being extremely fuel efficient. The furnace burns maybe an ounce an hour. Up front, the factory stereo has been replaced with a nicer unit that connects to bluetooth wonderfully and the van has a built in, factory set of 6 speakers, including 2 large woofers in the rear doors and the passenger seat is on a DOT rated swivel base. She sports a simple, low profile, ladder to the roof on the driver's side and also a tow package. While she is NOT 4x4, the 245 75 16 tires are nearly as good and make for no need to have chains. She has tons of storage and the bed transitions from bed to couch and back. There is a decent pulley system to help with the transition. From the couch you can watch movies on a laptop with a 4 speaker sound system connected via bluetooth. The water system is easy to winterize... simply crack open the particulate filter tank-side of the pump and run the pump which is on a switch, until everything is more or less dry. remove and drain the filter cartridge the hot side supply cap for the faucet. She has a long history on carfax but has had no issues for 45000 miles or so. I have lived in this comfortably and it has been a reliable steed for many years. At present there are 2 open recalls for it that the dealer can take care of easily in a day. I just haven't had a chance to take it there. Comes with swing away 4 bike hitchmounted rack, ski wings, and roof box, all by Yakima, all with matching locks. Extra locking cores will be included.
