Seller's Description
For Sale - 1996 Dodge 3500 Sportsmobile Class B Conversion Van This is a great running clean conversion van that we have owned for several years. We have taken several longer trips in it, including last summer to central California and back and this van has always been a comfortable and reliable ride throughout. We have thoroughly enjoyed this vehicle and the ONLY reason we have decided to sell is because we have purchased a larger van with more seats so we can have friends and family on some trips. Though more people could be transported (there are seat belts under bench seats in rear) van is best suited, in our opinion, for a couple or single person. We acquired this van several years ago from the estate of a deceased individual and unfortunately they did not have any service records at the time. So we don't know prior details of any work done, major or otherwise. However, based on the general immaculate condition and the opinion of our mechanic, who praised the overall mechanical and exterior and interior condition, we assume it was well maintained (and also possibly garaged for much of it's life). It has approximately 195,500 miles on the odometer. Several years ago we replaced the fuel pump and also, out of thought of taking care of possible future issues, replaced multiple sensors on the engine. The van starts right up and runs smoothly, it is more reliable than any other vehicle we have owned! We replaced the original inverter with a Xantrax Freedom, which has a wall control. Also replaced the original 90s reading lights with touch leds with USB outlets throughout. New Led dome and rear ceiling lights. Here are the details; 16 Gallon fresh Water Tank Shurflo 12V Water Pump Shurflo inflo filter (new) 6 Gallon water heater Bathroom Combination shower, sink toilet stall with curtain drain to gray water tank, toilet to black water tank Kichen Kitchen Sink Faucet with pull out spray (New) Suburban 2 burner propane stove Ventline hood - needs replacing 2 Way Dometic Freezer Fridge - RM2510 Microwave 2 Solar Panels mounted on roof Solar Guard Regulator and Meter (charges rear batteries) Dual deep cell Interstate batteries in rear Xantrax Freedom 458 inverter with wall panel (newer) Leco carbon monoxide detector cci controls Lp gas leak detector Engine/Mechanical AGM red top starting battery Fuel pump (newer) Sensors - multiple newer New Backup camera Manchester Propane Tank Starcool heat/cool unit with thermostat Suburban Propane Heater Fantastic vent (model no 7350) with new pop screen and new remote 12 Volt Axcess television Captains chair front seating, passenger side swivels 180. There is a accessory center console included between seats - we always took it out for trips because it seemed to just be a in the way. Rear seating area with table folds down into bed - almost queen sized. We custom fit a foam topper and generally just used it as a sleeping area. Shelving above sleeping area with bungies Opening windows in rear with screens, privacy screens and also snap on fabric privacy curtains throughout Known Issues - gray water tank has a leak, we purchased replacement and this is included but needs to be installed kitchen vent needs replacing - fan motor was pretty seized when we purchased van and we did all cooking outside of van so never used it. Asking $18,500 or best offer. Clean Title, registered until August 22. Please email if you have any questions or would like additional photos! Thanks!
