Seller's Description
2005 GMC Safari AWD Camper Van for sale! Has been driven only 142,000 miles, which is low for these workhorses. Has seen regular maintenance and is in perfect running shape. I just finished a one month road trip around UT, AZ, and CO and didn’t have any issues. I’m only selling because my visa in the US is ending and I have to leave the coutry soon. Otherwise I would probably never let her go. Such a perfect little camper that has also been my daily driver when living in different cities. Excellent on snow, a little lazy sometimes when going uphill but I’ve just taken it slow when driving through the mountains. I’m the second owner and have converted this as a camper during the past 9 months or so. My goal was to keep the build as light as possible to keep the gas milage above 20mpg. Features: - Insulated with 3M Thinsulate on walls and ceiling and a 1/2” foam board on floor - Solar-powerd roof fan, which keeps itself on day and night. No need for wiring or a seperate power source - Bluetti EB55 portable power station that has a 537Wh LiFePo4 battery, with carrying case, all the cables, and shore power adapter - Sink with ELECTRIC faucet and two 2.5 gallon water tanks for fresh and gray water (much easier to empty and fill up than bigger tanks!) - LED light strip above cabinets with a seperate 4000 mAh power bank - Lovely cedar plank ceiling - Elephant bark rubber flooring for durability and grip - Walls covered with marine vinyl - Cabinets with sliding doors and lots of strorage room under bed - Bed size is 73”x39” and it’s actually a very comfortable Ikea Söderhamn couch which I decided to repurpose. Best part is it can easily be removed when not using this as a camper to have space for other things. - Custom blackout curtains to seperate the cabin and offer pricacy as well as an insulated backdrop and tinted side and back windows Personally this was all that I needed. There is definitely still room to add your own personal touches. A countertop maybe, solar if you need it etc., hooks here and there. Recent maintenance done: - Regular oil and filter changes, last one at 138,000 with high-mileage full synthetic oil - Full Fuel system service was done at the same - New Wipers and Air filter - New Battery - Belt tensioner - Sway bar, links, and bushings replaced - Catlytic converter replaced (was stolen) - Fuel filter - Front Brake pads, Rotors, Calibers, Hoses and Wheel bearings - Front shocks - New Sailun A/S Tires at 135,000 - Undercarridge cleaned and coated with fluid film to prevent against rust I have reciepts for all the work done and a printed inspection report that was done during the most recent oil change about a month ago. Clean Florida title in hand. Feel free to ask any questions. I’m looking to sell fast so willing to help with delivery or anything you need!
