Seller's Description
We're moving to Spain and selling our camper van for $58,000. Converted 2019 Ford Transit High Roof Extended 250 (22 ft long, 6.8 inches wide, 9.2 ft tall) with 92,000 miles is completely off-grid with Renogy solar panels, battery and inverter. Clean title, registered in Texas with no mechanical or cosmetic damage. For us, the quality of the materials was most important for us. We wanted our rig to run smoothly and we're grateful we chose Renogy for our electrical setup, the Dometic cooler for our fridge, the Dometic Heki XL skylight, the Camco Olympian heater, the Ruvati large sink and a three burner stove and oven (links located at the bottom). BED The van has an uncharacteristically large bed (6.5 ft long x 5ft 2 inches wide) made from 9 inch thick memory foam and accommodates two people perfectly. Most converted vans have beds that run the width of the van but ours runs the length and it's the best decision we made when building it. How you sleep is one of the most important aspects, if not the most important of traveling in a camper van with ultimate comfort in mind. SKYLIGHT Van features an oversized Dometic skylight which measures 27.5 x 19.5 inches (Dometic Midi Heki) which makes the space feel even more spacious and lets in lots of natural light. It features two sliding screens, one mosquito screen and one blackout screen so that it's completely dark. SOLAR PANELS, BATTERY & INVERTER The van has two large Renogy Solar panels (160 Watt 12 Volt Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panels). Our battery, inverter and monitors are all from Renogy (12V 60A DC to DC Battery Charger, 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter, 500A Battery Monitor). SWIVEL CHAIRS Both chairs swivel so you can turn them around to expand the space even further. OVEN, STOVE & FAN It has a large propane oven and three burner stove great for people who like to cook. We used the oven/stove almost every day and it's very comfortable, especially if you want to have three burners going at once. There are two side tables around the stove for food prep. You can look out the large window on left back side while you're cooking. The fan is positioned adjacent to the stove so it ventilates and keeps the van cool while the burners are in use. PROPANE TANK AND ELECTRIC SHOWER HEATER Includes a 6 gallon propane tank attached underneath the van. The oven, stove and heater run on propane. The 2.5 gallon electric shower heater is located in the back. You'll see many campers with inside showers. For us, we decided it wasn't essential for it to be inside because it would be a waste of space for the 10 minutes you'd use it each day. Also, if you plan to travel there's also something really nice about taking a shower outside in nature. FRIDGE Spacious Dometic Cooler Fridge duals as a chair and even makes ice cubes using the app. HEATER Olympian Wave 3 heater and natural sheep's wool insulation keeps van warm in cold climates so you can sleep comfortably. With the heater, we slept a few nights at 2 degrees F but it is most comfortable 14 degrees F and up. Entire van is lined with 60 lbs of sheep's wool from Havelock Wool which is the most natural, non-toxic insulation available. Wool breaths so just as it keeps you warm in colder climates it keeps you cool in warmer ones. WATER TANK We have a 30 gallon water tank that's easy to fill up from the back using a hose. The Ruvati stainless steel sink (Tirana 15-in x 20-in) is deep so you can comfortably wash dishes without water splashing outside. STORAGE There is tons of storage space under the bed and in the three wooden closets/cabinets. MILEAGE Mileage is roughly 16 miles per gallon and although it doesn't have 4WD we've never had a problem or felt like it would make all that much of a difference (you don't want your plates and stuff banging around all that much anyways). And yet we've driven it across most terrains including particularly bumpy ones without issue. OPTIONAL We have two inflatable Advanced Kayaks and two Stance mountain bikes that we can bundle in if interested. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
