Seller's Description

Hey! Thanks for checking out our latest build from Sabbatical Designs! This is a 2020 Ram Promaster 3500 159 wheelbase EXTENDED with 22,700 miles on a NEW engine installed by a Mopar dealership in December of 2021. The van is in excellent mechanical condition and has a clean Carfax: 1 previous owner & no accidents. It has a 3 year (until Dec 2024) or 100,000 mile warranty on the engine. This is a brand new conversion completed June 2022. With the SOLAR AND BATTERY BANK this van is completely OFF GRID. Lets break down what is included in this beautiful build. -Wabasto London “engine on” HVAC system (32,500 BTU cooling/ 44,500 BTU heat) -500 Watts of Solar -Goal Zero Yeti 1500x -1516 watt hour lithium battery -2000 watt AC inverter; 3000 watt surge -Queen size 6in Memory foam bed that converts to a dinette (accommodates someone 6'3) - Large Shower - Hot Water heater- Ecotemp L5 propane powered- connected to main bath shower, sink, and rear shower - 8 kw Diesel Heater (tank installed under hood) - Fridge/Freezer- Isotherm Cruise Elegance 65 with ice tray -Dometic 2 burner D21 flush mounted propane stove -Full sized Farmhouse sink -10 Overhead LED lights on a dimmer - Under-cabinet LED light on both driver and passenger side -Two 110 volt outlets in Kitchen - 2 USB outlets above bed - Wall mounted fire extinguisher, Jogoswall Car automatic fire extinguisher- under sink and Kidde Carbon monoxide/fire alarm - Factory backup camera HVAC SYSTEM The rear of the van is temperature controlled by an amazingly powerful Wabasto London HVAC. It has 32,000 BTU of cooling: 2x or even 3x more than most van roof top units! This unit is very unique in that the condenser fans are mounted under the frame of the van rather than on the roof. This allows for more solar, more storage space on the roof, and minimizes the chances of a leak. The system cost over $7k to have installed. KITCHEN The kitchen has a beautiful 8 foot oak butcher block counter top. There is a full sized farmhouse sink with a copper faucet and a 2 burner Dometic D21, 2 burner propane stove. There is an outlet for kitchen appliances and also a dimmer switch for the cabin lights. Conveniently located above the sink is a beautiful shelf with LED dimmable lighting. Below the Dometic cooktop are 6 drawers with a significant amount of storage for utensils, food, gear etc. A trash can is conveniently stored below the sink and is hidden behind a simple sliding wood door. The hot water heater and diesel heater are also stored below the sink. For safety we installed a Jogoswall automatic fire extinguisher under the cabinet. SHOWER This hotwater shower is huge for a van! Its dimensions are 37” x 24” and it has a sliding door that takes up very little space. We have a removable shower head that also has an on/off function to conserve water. Inside the shower is a water tight Dometic toilet. Due to the location of the toilet and size of the space, you can shower easily with the toilet in the shower. U-SHAPED DINETTE AND HICKORY TABLE Toward the back of the van we have a very functional U-shaped dinette with plenty of seating and table space for 5 people. There is a hickory herringbone designed table in the middle that is attached to a Lagun mount that is able to move around the entire space allowing for more lounging and easy accessibility for people to get in and out. We love the U-shape because it allows for a lounging option across the back of the van while other people can work on laptops or eat at the table. BED To make the bed you simply move the table off the lagun mount and down where it will rest on some horizontal supports. Then you fold the cushions down to make a queen sized beat out of 6in memory foam. There are 4 cabinets above the bed for storage, and a USB charger located on the driver side. On the driver side read door there is also a small shelf great for storing your favorite book, cell phone, and a waterbottle. Above the bed is a MaxxAir Fan that is great for venting and cooling you down at night if needed! GARAGE ( plumbing and electrical) The garage area stores a 30 gallon freshwater tank and the shurflow water pump. There is a shore water inlet on the passenger side that easily allows you to fill the tank. There is also a hot water shower in the back on a 6 foot hose that is great for washing gear, or taking an outdoor shower. We vented the water tank to overflow under the van so you don't have to worry about over filling and spilling. We installed a 10 gallon gray water tank under the van. On the passenger side there is valve to empty the tank. Some people like to keep it open and draining all the time. It really depends on where you park. A gray water tank is great to have when you need it! The driver side has a long storage area that is about 60” deep by 12” x 12”. The Goal Zero Yeti 1500x lives on the passenger side as well. There is a very well organized 12 volt fuse box with each wire labeled with a heat shrink label maker. The wires from the TWO 250 watt solar panels also enter here and are easily plugged into the Yeti 1500x. While the engine is on you also have the ability to charge the battery and of the We love the Goal Zero Yeti for its simplicity and portability. It can easily be removed from the van to give you power in your own home in case of a power outage, or to bring with you on any number of adventures where you want to run power hungry electrical appliances. It has an inverter that can handle 3000 watt surges allowing it to power a microwave, table saw, electric griddle, pretty much anything you plug into your home outlet it can run. Check out goalzero.com for more on the yeti 1500x. That's all folks! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out or if you would like to schedule a showing/test drive! If you are coming from out of town we are happy to meet you at the airport or help you find other accommodations.
