2021 Campervan Conversion of 2012 Sprinter 170WB High Roof

$78,500

Seller's Description

Say Hello to Cassie the Chassis! She is a 2012 Mercedes Sprinter (Campervan Conversion in 2021) we used to live in full time and travel around the US and Canada. The van was used in a flower delivery business in Florida (no rust, no cold winters) before we converted in 2021, so all components in there only have 20.000miles of life and many electrical components are still within manufacturer warranty! We used Rivnuts for the entire conversion, so there won't be any rust and you can easily use bolts to hang different shelves / cabinets without having to drill holes or take off the wall panels. More info on why we used Rivnuts: https://faroutride.com/crossnut/ That's only one example of how we built out this van to last another decade. There are countless reasons why we believe Cassie is the perfect campervan, so we'll stick to the main ones for now: - Cassie is fully electric! Induction cooktop, water heater, water pumps, coffee maker & waffle maker are included and work like you were home. No worrying about propane, no setting up a loud generator and no extra cost for you to buy/refill them. - Cassie is a home! When converting Cassie into our home, we chose the highest quality products from companies that trust their products enough to give them a long warranty. After 20.000 miles of travel, we have yet to have our first electric/water problem or outage, which is mostly unheard of in store-bought RVs. - Cassie is built for Adventure! Slide out bike rack for two bikes, ski storage, a large garage and all-mountain tires get you and your gear where you want to be. The large diesel tank (26gal), solar (700W) + alternator (750W) chargers & water tanks (30gal fresh, 16gal grey) keep you off the grid for up to 10 days. A 5kW diesel heater and 2 MaxxAir fans keep you comfortable in temperatures from -30 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. - Cassie is safe and easy to drive! We test drove over 20 vans before deciding to purchase Cassie. A Ford Transit or ProMaster just don't drive as easy and smooth as a Mercedes. The large privacy tinted windows behind the seats and in the back doors convinced us. Being able to see everything around while driving makes Cassie feel like driving a larger SUV, not at all like a cargo van or RV. She also fits into most normal parking spots. All service and maintenance is taken care of and is documented. The Mercedes V6 Diesel engine will easily go +300k miles. We've seen multiple van like this one well beyond the 350k mile mark. We get about 18-21 MPG depending on the terrain. We made sure to do a lightweight build so you can load a ton of your own stuff for adventures (you can add an additional load of ~2,500 lbs). There are some dents throughout the van on the exterior, nothing major and no rust, since any scratches have been detailed and sealed. Van is in great shape. Other key highlights and their value: 1) New rear brakes, RV suspensions and sumo springs to reduce sway and increase driving comfort (value: 1400$) 2) Alpine low profile swivel chairs for driver and passenger seat (value: 1200$) (https://alpinemechanisms.com/products/2007-2021-mercedes-sprinter-seat-swivel) 3) Insulating blackout covers for all windows and fan openings (value: 1200$) 4) 300Ah LiFePo4 batteries with premium 2200W pure since inverter and 700W of solar + 750W of alternator charger (value: 4500$) 5) 10" entertainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready, including backup camera, wifi and gps antenna (value: 500$) 6) WeBoost 5G-ready cell phone signal booster with external antenna (value: 550$) 7) BFGoodrich KO2 All Terrain tires voted best tires for full time van conversion. We never had our wheels spin no matter if in dirt, sand or snow (value: 1000$) 8) Oil change, Full A/C service and rear differential oil change done as of 6/30 (value: 1500$) 9) Includes all camping essentials (camping chairs, awning, camping table, induction cooktop, pot/pan, utensils and plastic dishes, pillows, storage boxes, pop up tent, shower, bbq gear, etc. You can buy this van and start your roadtrip later the same day, knowing you have everything you need with you (value: 750$) Only premium components have been used for this conversion as it has been designed for us to live and work full time. This is more than 11.000$ in additional value most conversions won't provide.
