Seller's Description

- smooth-running 5-cylinder Mercedes diesel - avg 20-21 mpg - Mostly converted for a living (85% complete) I converted this van for weekend camping and climbing trips with the flexibility to transport motorcycles. I lived in the van full time for more than a year, but I am moving to Japan so I want to pass it down to someone who would appreciate and take proper care of it. It is in good shape that I traveled from Oregon to Ohio without an issue. Few things to note though. - There is a minor coolant leak, and the coolant hoses need to be replaced (The van comes with new hoses). - There is random chattering noise from somewhere near the cabin (the front wheel bearings were replaced within 20,000 miles ago) - There is a dent on the driver's side body, and some cosmetic damage on the paint (the van will come with the paint I used) Ask me any questions! - Notion page that explains the van in more detail: [https://bluevillage.notion.site/T1N-Sprinter-2004-6e664ca2d5a24bc7b5dd68f6cc80733b] - Google photos for additional photos: [https://photos.app.goo.gl/V5HVHTC9T2ybvih18] FYI, in the video below, Florida Van Man summarized potential defects and places to check before you make your decision. We are not sure how much it is helping but it looks much better and we are happy about that. - Roof box: Yakima Skybox for outdoor gears and tools. - New sliding door: The original sliding door was very rusty, so we replaced it with a clean door. **Electric** - 190 AH, 12V, Li3OP4 (Lithium Phosphate) battery - 2 x 125W solar panels - 1500 W inverter - Front and back cameras / drive recorder / security camera **Mechanical** - Mileage: Around 240,000 miles - We have trips once in a while so the number keeps going up. We will for sure sell it before it hits 250,000 miles. So let’s say the van has 250,000. - Maintenance record - We kept track of all the maintenance and repairs, as well as upgrades in a google sheet (screenshot in the image below). - Koni front suspension kit and rear struts - They drastically improved the comfort of the ride. The van used to get blown by a strong wind, and get rocked by bumps on the road. Now, it feels like a different vehicle and handles rough roads well. **Maintenance and Repair** - 4x BF Goodrich KO2 A/T 245/75/16 tires, 2022 Apr - Brake pads (30,000 ~ 70,000 miles till next service), 2022 Apr - Rotors (50,000 ~ 70,000 miles till next service), 2022 Apr - Turbo air tubes, 2021 Oct - Check engine light - Paid to get a diagnosis by [Sprinter Expert](https://goo.gl/maps/2eGuMxGbuFxQ1wLZ6) in Cordova, CA which is 20 mins from downtown LA. They are known to be one of the best mechanics in the country for T1Ns. - They told me the issue is electric communication between the driver and the passenger sides of the van. The codes do not affect anything related to the drivability of the van so we left them alone. - Can still pass smog, and I can share information that I found upon request. - CARFax Report (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11UqHIxwDSzjDl-Cg6vSnTy0fhaMtXC2v?usp=sharing ) **Cost** We have been keeping track of all the costs including the original purchase and registration, conversion, maintenance and repairs, upgrades, gas, etc. You can access the file from the same link above for the Carfax report.
