SUPER STEALTH / DIY PHOTO STUDIO W/ ELECTRIC SCOOTER The Van: One owner, bought new, Nov 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500, 144 WB, 4 Cylinder Diesel, 7G Tronic Transmission, 4 Cylinder, Standard Roof Cargo Van, 79,000 Miles, All Weather Tires with new spare, Handsfree Bluetooth and USB, Airbags, Power Windows and AC. The interior height is about 5'7", perfect for standing upright and walking if you are under 5 foot 7 inches tall. The Interior: The van was custom built by myself during lockdown on my family farm in rural, upstate Indiana. Most of the wood is reclaimed barn wood and the lockers are repurposed high school lockers. The insulation is Rockwool Acoustic Mineral Wool Insulation, Very High NRC Rating, Water repelling - hydrophobic- Class A fire rating. The floor is basic wood panels and the walls and ceiling are decorative barn wood slats. The Bed: The custom bed is located in the front area of the van to best utilize the the sliding side door and cab windows when camping. It is 6 feet long and 2 1/2 feet wide. The airflow from the side windows and view through the windshield make the camper van very comfortable. Below the bed is a very large storage area with 2 hinged access doors. The mattress is Milliard 6-Inch Memory Foam, custom cut into 2 pieces that lift separately with the 2 storage access door below. The Kitchen: The cooking area includes a Retro Red Frigidaire Bar Fridge, simple countertop with storage beneath. The large, deep 31 inch Kraus Black Onyx Granite Kitchen Sink is concealed beneath the Canadian Maple woodblock with hinges for access. There is also storage beneath the sink and plumbing access. The Bathroom: The van is equipped with full RV hookup, water intake, flushing RV toilet. All water and sewer hoses are included as well as heavy duty power cords and adapters. The Studio: Compact yet efficient photography studio / office workspace / desk with under countertop chair. The studio has Canadian Maple butcher block counter space with niche cubbyhole large enough to store laptops, lighting equipment and office supplies. This studio space includes stock photography backdrops and surge protection bar for charging drones, lights, camera and other devices. The studio bar stool is soil wood, Amish made with custom rolling casters and brakes. It fits in place, stays locked and has storage below for light items like bedding or clothes. The Stealth: This van is perfect for stealth dwellings. The thin, low profile solar panels can not be seen as they are mounted flat to the van roof. The cab interior is void of equipment or clutter, has full seat covers, shop floor rugs for easy cleaning, 2 safety green vests for added stealth and no visible giveaways that it is a camper van. The mat black cotton blackout curtains are snapped in place and double sided for warmth and privacy. Specially designed (forestry, ranger, conservation) decals on front and back door panels add to the stealth. Parked anywhere, this van looks like any other empty, parked work van but the decals make it look official yet generic. The Electric Scooter: Bought new in 2021 for $500, Rarely used Gotrax XR Ultra Electric Scooter, 8.5" Pneumatic Tire, Max 17 Mile and 15.5Mph by 300W Motor, Bright Headlight and Taillight, Aluminum Alloy Frame and Cruise Control, Foldable Commuter Escooter. OutdoorMaster Skateboard Cycling Helmet, elbow and knee pads included. The scooter is easily mounted inside the side panel door for quick access. Bonus: New In Box Cooryda Replacement Honeycomb Solid Airless Tires. Extras: tool storage area, camping equipment, magnetic LED Cabinet Lights with rechargeable battery and charger and 2 Steel locking shop lockers for food and equipment storage. The Condition: The exterior is in great condition with only minor ware and tear. As with most van builds, this is the second version of the interior. The first build was mostly modular and designed to work out the best fit for my needs. Ware and tear to the interior metal frame is limited to framing only. There is no construction, framing damage or rust. The side and back panel doors need the seal padding replaced at some point and the rear door mounts need adjusting after new seals are installed. Minor fixes include replacing some fuses and light bulbs. Maintenance: Annual Full inspection at Quicklane Indio CA, last done 10/2021, new filters installed. 5 Wildpeak A/T3W All-Terrain, All-Weather 55,000 mile tread warranty, bought new Nov 2019.
