Seller's Description
2017 Nissan NV 2500 High Roof camper van conversion. We (married couple) are selling as we shift into a more stationary phase of life. The Basics: - we purchased from John Roberts Nissan in Manchester, TN (they were the only previous owner and used the van to carefully move parts between dealerships. Have service records) - 100,000 miles on 3/19/2022 (I can supply more accurate measure on request) - gasoline fuel - automatic 5sp transmission - all of the interior and exterior functions work great (A/C, lights, power locks and windows, etc) - tires are in great shape - The NV 2500 has 400W AC outlet that can be used when the vehicle is turned on and in park Highlights of our Conversion: - Floor: 1/2" XPS (bonded to the metal van floor) under 1/2" birch plywood (bonded to the XPS) with vinyl flooring on top - Insulated with Havelock wool around all walls and ceiling - Walls and Ceiling ribs: 1x3" furring strips mounted by using existing mounting holes (thru-holes with nut and bolt OR M* tapped holes) or holes we drilled and painted and installed rivnuts into - Walls: painted 3/16" plywood screwed into ribs - Ceiling: Shiplap screwed into ribs - Ventilation fan: MaxxFan Deluxe Manual-Opening RV Ventilator System, Smoke Lid (00-06200K model). Extremely well-sealed and works like a charm for keeping the inside cool and fresh - Bed: secured in place, 1/2" birch plywood on top of 2x4 joists. 54x69" with 5" closed-cell foam mattress. Very comfortable - Front cab can be separated from the rear living space with sliding curtains installed - Lighting: recharageable and modular magnet puck lights with a remote - no hardwire lighting! We found this to be much more practical and useful for inside / outside lighting. We also use battery powered LED string lighting - Kitchenette cabinet is 39.5" height, has lift up top for extra storage and sliding shelf for a large cooler inside. - Cabinets are custom made. 85" in length, 14.5" height 13.5" depth and offer plenty of storage - Shelving under the bed makes for easy in/out laundry baskets/cloth cubes/or other baskets - Bicycle storage: currently set up to mount two bikes inside using front thru-axle and rear wheel ratchet strap. Configuration is ideal for avoid lowering the seat and/or having to store under the bed. - Hitch Receiver: 2" reciever on the rear offers opportunity for a bike rack, pull trailer, etc. - Power / Electric: we use a Jackery 1000 (would consider letting this go with the van - negotiable) - Food: we use an Orca cooler under the kitchenette for cold storage - Water: we use multiple gallon jugs stored under kitchenette Cosmetics - very light roof denting on the upper front edge of the high roof that was a result of a driver using the van when it was still owned by John Roberts Nissan hitting a structure on entering a parking deck. We repaired this dent ourselves and touched up a couple of very small areas that needed to be re-painted. I can share photos of this process. - front driver side bumper has a light bend in it due to Nissan driver hitting something presumably at low speed. Does not affect safety of function. Hardly noticeable. Here are a collection of videos and timelapses of the build: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSD0fgWiWHi21JmCqo2EK-w/videos
