Seller's Description

2005 Ford Econoline 450 Super Duty 6.0L V8 Diesel Ambulance converted to RV / Campervan 128,000 miles VIN # 1FDXE45P2 5HB44618 $35000 9’2” tall x 8’9” wide x 22’9” long (external dimensions) interior standing height is 67.5" This vehicle has a thorough mechanical stamp of approval. The RV conversion is complete and ready to live in or upgrade to your preferences. Currently registered and classified by the State of California as a Recreational Vehicle and insured by Progressive insurance Vehicle: The engine is mechanically sound in excellent condition. It just completed a $14,000 engine Bulletproofing job, which means you can reasonably expect the engine to run very well for another 200,000+ miles with basic maintenance. Most 6.0L super duty diesel engines will eventually need Bulletproofing to last the full 400,000-500,000 miles on these engines. Bulletproofing means the engine was completely removed from the vehicle, and all parts that are likely to fail during the life of the vehicle were removed and replaced with warranty-protected parts. All mechanic paperwork for the bulletproofing job is provided. You can read more about Bulletproofing here, or call your local diesel mechanic https://bulletproofdiesel.com/pages/what-does-bullet-proof-mean All 6 tires are brand new, under warranty (warranty info/ paperwork provided) Two brand new ultra high performance engine cranking batteries: Optima Yellow Top deep cycle lead acid 75Ah batteries with 900 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). Good for high power use (like leaving the floodlights on a long time with engine off) and starting in super cold conditions. The brakes and rotors have been inspected and are in good working condition at about 75%. The mechanic said it’s not time for a brake job yet but maybe in 25-50k miles. This vehicle spent its life in Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, and southern California with little to no exposure to snow or salt. There is very minimal rust underneath the vehicle. There are no exhaust leaks or structural rust damage. Powerful air conditioner for front cabin area. Battery disconnect switch for engine cranking batteries installed and accessible from driver seat. 11-15 miles per gallon RV / campervan conversion: • original ambulance sliding door storage compartments that open on hydraulic struts for full access. • 2 x Newpowa 180W12V Monocrystalline High Efficiency solar panels for a total of 360 Watts of solar securely fastened to the roof and wired in parallel (you can change to series if you wish) • Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100V 30 amp 12/24-Volt Solar Charge Controller (Bluetooth/ smartphone) • 12V DC power system accessible via 2 USB chargers, 1 DC electrical socket, and various appliances connected to the system. • Renogy 1000W pure sine wave inverter wired to 2 AC electrical sockets • All electrical components, wires, connectors, etc are American made • Wiring diagram provided including all wire lengths, gauges, fuse sizes, circuit breakers, solar components • Total 200Ah of 12V “House battery” on a separate system from the engine batteries using two brand new Renogy LiFePO4 Deep Cycle 12V 100Ah Smart Lithium-Iron Phosphate Batteries with Self-Heating Function • Original ambulance inverter charger is still installed and connected to the cranking batteries so you can charge those batteries from any electrical outlet using a regular extension cord. • Pressurized water system • large 30 gallon water tank under the couch/bed • 12V water pump • Stainless steel sink that drains to 3 gallon grey water jug using quick-connect hose • Separate shower area with on-demand tankless hot water heater (propane-powered) with a shower head. Shower drains to ground. Shower area has overhead soft white LED and a MaxxAir MaxxFan dome exhaust fan that turns your shower into a wet room / drying room. • Compartment under the shower seat has an exhaust fan that pulls air out of the vehicle in case you need to store stinky things because, let’s face it, sometimes you need to go and need to store it somewhere. With the exhaust fan, we don’t smell anything in there. • TurboKool brand evaporative cooler installed on the ceiling, which functions as a very powerful fan with adjustable speed and the option to use the evaporative cooler / swamp cooler connected to the pressurized water system, which decreases temps up to 20 degrees (see TurboKool website). Also works as a powerful exhaust fan above the stove. • Coleman stovetop (propane) • The kitchen counter flips up so an extra passenger can sit in the back w/ seatbelt. A total of 3 people can ride in this vehicle w/ seatbelts. • Futon w/ memory foam cushions & queen width pull-out bed • 63 Quart refrigerator and freezer - 12 Volt Alpicool APLT60-LG Dual Zone Temperature Control installed • Couch with memory foam cushions that opens up to queen-width bed, complete with memory foam topper and sheet so it feels like one big mattress. • Overhead LED lights • Hard-wired propane detector • Installed smoke & CO2 detector • Comes with a mr. buddy propane heater, a plug-in electric heater, and a plug-in electric heating blanket. You could also easily install a Webasto heater or Chinese diesel heater to this setup. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. We are happy to walk through any details with you to ensure all your questions are answered to your satisfaction. -Jessica and Gretchen
