Perfect for One Person and usable for two; this 2017 RAM Promaster CITY camper van is RED in color. Including the attached cargo box, the campervan is approximately 17 ¾ feet long. We have upgraded the vehicle to include: • Keyless entry • Remote start • full-time rear camera integrated with a self-dimming rear view mirror. • The head lights have been upgraded for better night vision. • A Sirius XM radio that has been permanently mounted to the dash and hooked to the UCONNECT head via an aux cord. • The front speakers have been recently replaced. • Additional coffee holders added - one per front door The exterior has been upgraded to include • vented side windows, • Running boards added to both the driver and passenger side of the exterior. • IVORY swing-away standard 12.5 cubic foot cargo box for additional storage. • Shore Power Outlet to recharge the two Marine/RV batteries used to provide power to the ceiling fan, lights and USB ports The Interior has been converted using many but not all the components from the “Wally” campervan kit from Wayfarer Vans. (https://wayfarervans.com/). • We chose to build our own composting toilet, which extends the length of the driver side bed and allows for a standard-length bed. The Toilet replaces the kitchen components of the WALLY build, as a result the passenger side bed is a bit shorter and would not be recommended for people over 66 inches in height. • The interior includes two shelves for additional internal storage. The passenger shelf replaces the location for the WALLY kitchen table. • RED has three separate sets of interior lights. The standard dome lighting, factory installed LED timed lighting that is quite bright, and additional lower-level LED lighting that is not on a timer. • There is a permanently mounted “TABLET mount” in the rear that allows easy viewing of a device up to 13 inches wide. The mount allows you to quickly attach or remove a tablet and is close to the USB charging ports. • There are multiple USB charging ports throughout the back of the van that allows ample and easy access for any small tablet or phone. • RED has two RV/marine batteries that are hidden under the driver seat, The batteries charge quickly when the motor is running and will not sap the car battery if they fully discharge. • RED has a MAXXair roof mounted fan. The unit can be run when its raining and will either circulate air in both directions. Things to be aware of: • It is not possible to stand in the campervan. • The campervan is not equipped with an AC inverter • The campervan does not include a kitchen • The vehicle came equipped with both a back up camera and a sound alert as you come close to a hard object as you reverse. The Sound alert has been overidden because the CARGO BOX interfered with it. The Yellow Triangle Alert seen in the dash image reflects that. Maintenance: We are the first owners of the PROMASTER CITY. As of this writing there is approximately 58000 miles on the vehicle. We have changed the oil every 6000 miles or less since it was new. As of this writing there are no known mechanical issues with the vehicle. The tires and brakes are closer to new than old. The vehicle has never been involved in an accident.
