This van is a Nissan NV 2500 that has been fully built out to be a fully self sufficient home one wheels. With this build my girlfriend and I, along with our two dogs, were able to spend last summer on a three month 15,000 mile cross country road trip. The van served us perfectly giving us a safe comfortable place to live and work no matter where we were in the country. Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for you, It was never our intent to keep the van or live out of it long term. With that In mind we built it with the intent to pass it on to someone who could really use it long term. So it has been built to last and after our road trip I went through and refitted everything making sure its ready for its next adventure. The Van: 2018 Nissan NV2500 high roof V6 with 36,500 miles (still under powertrain warranty) Recently serviced by Nissan (new brake rotors and pads) Oil and other fluids maintained per Nissans recommended service New tires all around last year (only 15k miles on them now) Build Standards: everything is made of pine lumber and 1/2" - 3-/4" plywood (no MDF or particle board) All fastening is done with screws(no nails) and industrial adhesive (almost $2000 in adhesives alone) Sound deadening was applied all around and it is very quiet inside while traveling Life proof flooring over insulated sub floor Insulation: 3M thinsulate all around and a Reflective insulation layer with air gap to reflect heat away. Spray foam was used sparingly in ribs and corners Electrical: - dimmable LED lighting on 4 separate switches - 200amp hour lithium battery pack - 640W of solar panels wired in two separate banks with a Renogy MPPT solar charger - Dual Inverters: 1400 wat pure sine and a 2000w unit for the stove - Battery to battery charger to charge while the vehicle is on -120v AC charging system - 4 120v AC outlets and 6 USB charging points Water: - 20 gallon built-in fresh water tank - Seaflo pump and acclimator system for sink and shower - 7 gallon Grey water tank under mounted Ventilation: - Sliding window installed - Dual Maxxair Vent fans installed in the celling with rain covers - computer cooling fan for large inverter and range - Includes bug netting for all doors that attach to mounted Velcro points Upfront: - always on digital rear view mirror - Hidden lock box bolted to floor for valuables - Passenger seat swivel to turn and use flip out table -over head storage and safety equipment (fire and first aid) - custom fit side and front windshield reflective covers -privacy curtain Kitchen: - 55 liter chest refrigerator with travel locking bolt - 2 burner induction cook top - 15" x 15" hammered metal sink with electric faucet - locking door latches all around - 6 upper cabinets and pantry - Utensil draw with built in inverter controls Bath: - fiberglass waterproofed shower pan and walls - rigid privacy curtain - Removable Portapotty cassette toilet with floor mount - RV shower head and pump switch Bed: - convertible couch to bed design - standard twin dimensions (longer then most van beds oriented sideways) - two part sliding construction. each half is on 500lb locking drawer slides - storage under the seat cushions and two large drawers underneath couch /bed frame this van is built right with long term travel in mind.
