Seller's Description

2015 Ford Transit 350 85,500 miles Stealth Van Life Please ask for video tour If interested! We wanted to make this van so we didn't stand out while living van life. Nothing about the outside of this van gives it away. We were able to sleep anywhere for 6 months. From NJ to CA the van has seen it all and handled it all like a champ. From the sweltering hot death valley to the high cold altitude of the Colorado mountains we had never had a problem. The AC blows cold and the heat works flawlessly. The oil has been changed every 4k while on the journey with mobile 1 Synthetic. 100,000 mile Ford Powertrain Warranty. We can no longer work remotely, and therefore can’t travel as we’d like. This van is outfitted for full time living: huge countertops to do all your cooking/working, full-size stainless steel sink, storage for all outdoor activities, outdoor shower, and a queen size bed! We opted to go with the queen because it was what we were used to, and didn't want to sacrifice a good night's sleep. We had a carpenter, plumber and electrician outfit the van for all the custom work to be done. Brand new waterproof laminate floors were just installed and we haven't even stepped on it yet! The van will come with everything in the pictures, and is ready to go on a new adventure! The van can also be delivered if needed. Message me and let's talk! Storage cabinet 2 compartments underneath bed Decorative rope trim Insulation 3m Thinsulate Ez-Cool XPS rigid (underlayment) Towing Curt towing hitch (3500 pound) This is a medium roof transit and the carpenter custom made a ceiling to squeeze out every inch, and has a total height of 5’ 11”. The interior wood is red cedar and we have personally oiled it meticulously. We wanted to make sure the wood stayed in its natural form since it is so beautiful! We added a few extra baskets around the van and a shelf above the driver and passenger seats for more storage and it has made all the difference! There are even two nice organizers under the sink with 5 drawers total for more organization and storage. Now we have room inside and outside of cabinets for things needed more than others. Alongside the bed we have another small storage box for toiletries etc. Storage is not an issue here! Where's the cooktop? Well we didn't want a cooktop installed in the butcher block because we love the huge 55” countertop space it provides. Underneath the sink you will find an electric cooktop and a brand new propane stove that does the job. The sink only has cold water running to it and has a 5 gallon gray water tank underneath the sink, but the shower has a propane hook up and the water gets as hot as you could possibly want! The fridge is a truckfridge and runs off 12V. There's more than enough room in this small fridge for your groceries and you can even make ice and store ice cream in the little freezer portion! The baskets on the left are great for storing dry snacks and we kept cans and other smaller items on the shelf underneath the sink! For clothes we had a cabinet with 6 square bins total. It was enough space for our clothes for one season at a time with putting sweatshirts in a bin in the other storage cabinet. Sleeping in the van is so relaxing, we couldn't sacrifice the comfort of a nice mattress so we decided to get a sealy posturepedic. It is big but our carpenter made it fit, every night you will always feel well and rested for the next adventure. While traveling we added simple cloth shoe storage on the back board outside of the water tank for additional shoe storage. There was also plenty of room in the back cabinet for shoes but we preferred to have them out. When winter started to come we made the decision to purchase a piece of carpet from home depot to put over the laminate flooring. This was really nice for the winter, it gave more of a cozy warm feeling and we didn't have to worry 24/7 about getting the floor wet or muddy (even though we were always pretty good with taking our shoes off before entering the van). This van is ready for adventure immediately! She’s been to more places than some people visit in their life! The opportunities are endless, from weekend trips to living in it full time, beach days to mountain days, you can always do what you want and have everything you need with you wherever you go. There is just something special about pulling over whenever you see something beautiful and just enjoying the moment. The outdoor dinners, outdoor showers, crickets chirping while lying in bed, and constantly feeling a little closer to nature is a feeling like no other. Living with less has filled us up with more smiles and memories than staying at home ever could have. Although we will be letting go of full time van life for now, we will be taking every chance to explore we can and hope one day down the road we might just end up back in a van! We would recommend van life to anyone who has ever thought about doing it!
