Seller's Description

This campervan is a 2016 2500 high roof Promaster (159” wheel base) with many great features for off-grid vanlife. The van has 100k miles (mainly highway miles), with solid mechanics and brand new tires! There is bluetooth, a rear camera, two glove boxes, arm rests, and 5 cup holders. Campervan features: •full standing room up to 6’2” •full size 6 inch thick mattress, used only a few time (so comfortable) with storage underneath •isotherm 85 pull out fridge and freezer (the best, retail $2000) •diesel heater to keep you warm all day and all night in the colder months •a kitchen space with matte black appliances •a faucet that can be turned around for outdoor showers •choice of a built in butane cook top or a portable cook top (you could have both, if you want) •flip up counter space for outside the van •table to bench setup, with a high quality Springfield marine table pedestal ($500) •storage in bench seats, cabinets, bed frame, over the cab, over the kitchen countertop, and in the garage space. •two Arctic Tern Overland double paned windows which open fully, and also have a build in shade and screen! ($1500) •maxxair deluxe fan, with weather proof cover (no rain or snow can get inside), multiple speeds, and choice of fan direction (in or out) •portable toilet with has only been used for #1 and thoroughly bleached and cleaned. •maxtrax track pads, just in case you were to ever get stuck ($300) Electrical setup ($5000): •2 12v 100ah smart lithium iron phosphate Renogy batteries, which you can monitor from an app on your phone •60A Renogy dc-dc charger, which charges the batteries while the vehicle is running, and also protects the vehicle •2000w Renogy inverter; powering 4 AC outlets with USB ports. •3 100 w solar panels with charge controller •12v warm overhead lights •12v warm strip lights •extra wiring in case you want add other hard wired features Water •the water system is open to your needs and creativity. All campers require different things, such as size of fresh water tank and placement and size of grey water tank. I have the pump already, and old tanks (I would suggest getting new ones though) Build materials •insulated thoroughly with 3m thinsulate (the best, costing $600) •sound deadening throughout the van with kilmat •baltic birch walls secured to furring strips •fluted oak wood accents •48in kitchen base cabinet, customized to the van •12in base cabinet behind the drivers seat, from ikea, and slides out for easy access to everything stored in there •storage shelf above the big window •baltic birch bench seats that open from the top and lock •very sturdy bed frame, made with 2x6s and 1/2” baltic birch •floor has foam board insulation, a sub floor, and waterproof Casabella plank flooring throughout •high quality poplar tongue and groove ceiling secured to furring strips •poplar counter tops and table *all lumber and flooring came from a local lumber company (high quality) What is needed: •a roof rack and ladder! There are a few good options out there (I can give suggestions about ones I’ve researched). Or, you maybe dont want one at all! The solar panels still need to be put on the roof. •the water tanks, as described above •possible body work to fix a new dent in the drivers side between the added windows. **NO damage to van structure or build. Or, put a ladder and kick plate over it and get on the road! •because of the few things that still need to be done, the list price reflects that. I am selling my lovely van because I am just finishing graduate school and moving to a place where having a campervan in addition to a daily driver would be difficult. It’s been a dream come true for the time that I have had it. I hope someone can appreciate it as much as I have. Message me with questions!
