$11,811 USD or 0.4 BTC (Bitcoin) 6 ETH (Ethereum) offers accepted in other cryptocurrencies. KBB puts this van at about $11k, but ours is upgraded. Also, this model with windows all the way around is very rare. Mercedes diesel engine with under 130k miles on it! LOTS of life left in this beast :) We've only put 40k miles or so on this amazing van. Now, having taken new jobs, we just don't have the time to use it anymore. We don't smoke. We don't have pets. We keep our things clean and take care of them. Received regular maintenance. Oil changed every 10k miles, as suggested for diesel. Blows some black smoke when you really goose/gun the fuel pedal up to 5k RPM or so. As a result, you'll have a tough time getting this past CA smog test right now :( needs exhaust repair. That's absolutely the greatest downside here. Currently registered as planned non-operational. Conversions: - bed platform construction with under-storage (fits a twin bed and has 20 cm remaining as shelf space, but to leave more room above the bed, you may want to order a customized sleep pad) - ventilation fan (just above the cooking space) - blackout curtains for extra privacy, insulation - counter with shelving installed - carpeted (with no shoes & no pets policy the whole time) - customized insect netting allows the sliding door and driver’s window to be open in mosquito zones - weather tech rain strips allow you to roll the window down 6 cm and not get wet inside! Quirks: - crack in the windshield (does not obstruct driver view; AAA helps pay for windshields now!) - rattling sound from door hinge when driving - locking mechanism makes a weird sound when you lock the door - passenger speaker only works sometimes - sliding door doesn't open, cause unknown at this point - passenger door doesn’t open due to jammed locking mechanism ($150 or a 2-hour personal fix) - left window doesn't role up (due to a bird feather that got rolled down into the door, needs door taken apart; also $150 or 2 hours) - some rust on door and mirror - some rust on the tailpipe tip - screw in the back roof (allows for a place to magnet-mount phone to watch movies in bed) - ventilation fan did not fit ideally, so we duct tape currently holds it to the roofing - panel under steering column is duct taped in place Additional items included in sale: - portable toilet (never used, but req’d by law to sleep overnight in some towns) can be used to store cleaning supplies - snow chains for tires - roof rack - fold out table to extend counter for cooking or working - extra carpeting - seat covers Suggestions: - get a portable power source to power your things, such as the fridge, when the van isn’t running – we love the one we got so much, we’re not including it here ;) - get a collapsible sink & ample water storage - we will provide a detailed list of van-life tips customized for this Sprinter (who we called Clifford) Some of the many things we love: - better gas mileage than a non-diesel engine - reliable engine - lots of windows, tinted for great privacy - handles well, w/ great turning radius - back doors swing “all the way” open so you can back up to the perfect view and lay in bed - still has great tires - strong roof, easy to climb on top of - heat/AC work well - adventure-ready (or a feasible short-term mobile home) - the DMV will not consider it as an RV since it has no water tank
