Seller's Description
Off the Grid Adventure Van – seats 3, sleeps 3! The build out of this van is NEW. This is our third Promaster build. We start with a carefully selected van less than 1 year old and less than 10000 miles. My wife and I then complete the build out with premium materials and workmanship. The Chassis - we choose the Promaster 136" wheel base as an ideal fit for off-the-grid adventure. It is more maneuverable than the longer 159" wheel base model. It navigates dips in roads and tight parking spaces with ease. The front-wheel drive has excellent traction in snow. This model is perfect for a small family in that it has the factory front bench seating creating three factory safe seats. It is also provides a secure spot for two people and a dog! The layout - the fixed bed does not require daily conversion and allows for ample storage underneath. The dinette and large, rugged table make a convenient space for meals and working. The dinette converts to an additional bunk. We keep a clear, 10 foot long pathway under the bed and into the living area to accommodate skis, kayaks, SUPs, bikes, etc. It is important to be able to keep all the expensive gear inside so there are no security concerns when parking the van in urban areas for a night on the town. We love natural light and viewing our surroundings over morning coffee so we have lots of windows. Two of these open with screens for cross-ventilation. Materials - premium materials are used throughout. Wall panels are marine-grade okoume (similar to mahogany) plywood. Insulation is Havelock sheep wool. Furnishings are cabinet grade plywood with mahogany trim to make for solid corners. Flooring is durable, easy to clean luxury vinyl tile. The ceiling and other trim are PVC boards that are rugged, low maintenance, and easy to clean.
