Seller's Description
2010 transit connect micro camper Gurt the flirt is a 2010 Ford transit connect camper with 74,500 miles. We built her over the past year to be a cozy and compact camper for quick weekend trips or long road trips. Because a good nights sleep was of optimum importance for us, we opted for a larger sleeping area than most micro campers, 75” long by 47” wide (the length of a full size bed and 6” narrower). Underneath the sleeping platform are 5 large, sturdy drawers with enough space to hold everything you need for your getaway. We have extended the overhead storage above the driver and passenger seat for a very large storage area complete with LED strip lighting. Gurt also has a new Bluetooth and USB stereo and upgraded speakers. Another favorite feature is her rear facing camera that has been installed to remain on whenever the is on. Now you can see behind the vehicle while driving down the road, not just when backing up. We have tested her out on one camping trip to make sure everything works as it should and Gurt was a dream! Cash only please, payment plans not accepted. We can talk about delivery if needed. Feel free to reach out with any questions, however we would appreciate only serious buyers making appointments to come see Gurt….she is looking for a good home, not trying to catch COVID. Gurt is a flirt because she is equipped with the following: -Isolated 100 amphour AGM house battery (charge from alternator, will not draw from car battery) -Voltage monitor for house battery -Shore power plug-in (to charge battery from extension cord) -1200 watt inverter (delivering 120v power and remote switch for turning on/off) -12v and USB charging ports on either side of bed -12v plug-in for electric cooler -LED recessed can lighting -LED strip lights at front and rear of sleeping area -Exterior rear LED flood lights -Maxxfan with rain shield, 10 speed, intake and exhaust -Boss Bluetooth stereo -Kenmore speakers -Rear facing camera -(almost) Full-size 4 inch thick mattress -Elastic storage shelves on back doors -“nightstand” storage on either side of bed Gurt is a bit of a squirt because of the following: -Gurt came to us with a dent on her upper back corner. We have treated it and painted it to prevent further damage. Mechanical Rundown: -Gurt passed inspection with no issues in December 2021 -New transmission fluid and filter -New struts on front -New wheel bearings on front -New brakes and rotors on front -New wiper blades -New rear bumper -New air filter -New valve cover gasket -New spark plugs -New sway bar links on both sides on front -All doors, hood, and fuel door locks, and ignition have been replaced so they all work with the same key with no issues, two keys included.
