Opposite of that is the kitchen area which provides ample storage for all your dish ware, pots, pans, cleaning supplies and more. Also to the left there’s a big cubby space on the bench which I use for my pantry. On the back wall of the kitchen there are three shelves with already furnished space organizers. As mentioned, the roof deck has a big area of storage with a box (made of marine-grade ply) that runs in an L-shape along the entire length of the van. I’ve traveled with up to 3 other people for weeks and even with all of our things, we never had to have stuff on the floor of the van, everything fit in all the storage areas. On top of that, I always travel with surfboards, full climbing gear, sound equipment, a bike and lots of camping supplies. There’s TONS of space to load up for whatever adventure you can image. I’ve lived out of this van for nearly 5 years, mostly in California. It’s more than a van, it’s a home, with character. You can feel the vibe when you’re in it, it’s been lived in. I’ve refurnish and rebuilt the interior more than once to get to the place where it’s at now, super cozy, organized and utilitarian. I’ve traveled with partners for months in it and it’s provided plenary of space for our belongings. This rig is ready for adventures. It being covered in art adds a character to it that keeps it protected.. people naturally appreciate it and want to respect it. Since I’ve painted it, I’ve never had anyone bother me or try to break in. People just want to reflect the positive vibe that the van is pushing out.
