I bought my VW (Lucille) from a collector in Roanoke and have had her for 3 years. She is an all original beauty with working everything. No alterations have been made (except Awning and stereo) and camper is equipped with 2 burner stove, on board propane, sink with 13 gallon holding tank and pump, three way refrigerator, dual battery, pop top and drop sofa bed with room for 2 up and 2 down to sleep. 3800 miles on new professionally installed upgraded 2.2L VW motor built by JCS Volks Worx Motors in CA and installed by Wesy Motor Works in Ashville NC. Additionally there is new, ball and shifter linkage, starter, alternator, harness to alternator battery starter and injectors, fuel pump, filter and all fuel lines, clutch, pressure plate and through out bearing, both 1/2 shafts, bearings, rotors and brakes, and master cylinder, all belts and hoses have been replaced in the last 2 years. It comes with an 8'x8' awning that has an attachable room/screen room. All in new condition. The only issue is the AC does not blow cold. It is a dealer installed factory AC, and i have not needed it in the mountains. Most did not come with an AC option, but this is one of the rare few. I just have not had the need. However, It is the coolest van in the camp ground or festival. My dog, daughter, and grand and I have had a ton of fun, but am looking to upgrade to something bigger and with facilities.
