Seller's Description

1995 Manual Transmission Eurovan may be the best Eurovan camper ever built in terms of longevity, reliability, and cost of maintenance. It is the only year the Eurovan Camper came with the bullet-proof Audi designed 5-cylinder engine with the timing belt. Since our ownership in 2011, this Eurovan has been consistently maintained by Hans VW Repair, specialists in VW vans. We have complete maintenance records from 1995. VAN: 5-speed 5-cylinder 2.5 litre Manual Transmission 190,300 mileage Hwy: 21mpg Eurovans: How Long Do They Last? Lucas, GoWesty Camper Products president “In our opinion, there is absolutely no reason to replace the engine in a Eurovan preemptively. Just about the only thing that goes wrong with these engines is the timing chain. We recommend replacing the timing chain if/when the transaxle gives up the ghost—since the transaxle has to be removed to do the timing chain job, you might as well do it then. Barring timing chain failure, overheating (blown hoses or failed fans), or lack of lubrication (hole in the oil pan), these engines will typically go at least 300,000 miles. I have a 1997 with over 300K miles on it—it uses zero oil, makes no noise, and literally runs like it did when it was brand new.” CAMPER/Winnebago: Auxiliary deep cycle coach battery + outlets Fresh and gray water tanks Auxiliary water sprayer at rear hatch LP gas tank Furnace Cookstove (Right burner needs repair.)
