Seller's Description

2002 Freightliner Sprinter 2500. $25,000 Camper van for sale! ‘Roxanne’ is a steady running and dependable T1N sprinter van that has had extensive maintenance. See comprehensive list below. She is fully built out into a camper van, and is ready for your next adventure! Complete with fridge, oven, 3 burner propane stove, sink with running, solar panel with large battery, LED fixtures, copious storage in back, transformer bed that is equivalent to queen bed when folded out, axillary propane port for propane heater when cold, passenger seat with swivel to allow rear facing while camping. Ceiling vent with fan. The van has been insulated with spray foam and covered with wood panelling. All internal electronic components including lights and stereo are wired to auxiliary battery/solar system. My build out was focused on creating a space that I could live in while I finished my graduate degree. To facilitate this, I needed a table I could sit at and be productive, but also a full size bed. I am 6’1” and although the van is tall enough for me to stand up straight, I also needed to be able to stretch out in bed and have a ‘real’ table where I could concentrate on work. I accomplished both of these objectives by creating a hybrid bed/table set up. First of all, the kitchen table is load bearing up to hundreds of pounds, with two bench seats it serves as a nice workspace. There is a small board that pulls out between the permanent bed and the kitchen counter which covers the driver’s side bench. Then, a mattress piece is placed over the table and pull-out to create a mattress that is almost queen bed size. Roxanne does pretty well in snow, but is not a 4x4. I have used AT tires with good success, and she has been able to navigate snowy highways more than a few times without incident. She is a pretty high clearance vehicle, however, and can get down many back-roads into the wildlands of NV and UT. I bought Roxanne and built her out into a camper van in 2013 with 182,000 miles on her. She ran super strong with many cross country trips until she had a heart attack in 2017 at 290,000. I used the expertise of Culprit Customs to bring her back to life- he installed a rebuilt engine and ensured all adjacent components were in good working order. She has been stellar since then. Now at 350,000 and running strong, getting 21mpg while cruising at 85mph on highway. I had Culprit Customs check her out a few months ago when she had around 340,000 miles on her: he recommended a rear differential flush, transmission fuel/filter change, and new air filter. He gave me a rebuilt turbo to install as well. This has been completed, and I anticipate she is going to run for a long time! Clean title. The only reason I am selling Roxy is because I want a 4x4 truck. Comes with leveling blocks, auto-locking Jack/Lift, spare Alternator and spare Turbo. Miscellaneous: She does need new tires but I have deferred from replacing them now as I am unsure what tires the next owner would prefer. Recent maintenance: Oil Changes every 4000 miles.
