For sale is our home, YLD, an off-grid four-season adventure vehicle built on a 2020 148” AWD Ecoboost High Roof Ford Transit platform. We’ve traveled all across the country the past 11 months in YLD (@decidetheyld on instagram) and it’s done great in everything from -25ºF weather to the 110ºF weather in Arizona (okay, that was a little hot, but the van performed admirably). YLD allows us to stay off-grid until we run out of water (~2 weeks), all the while staying connected, warm (or cool), fed, and clean. 19500 miles, no mechanical issues, no aesthetic issues. Currently in California (San Jose / Bay Area), but willing to deliver in the US. This backbone supports an off-grid DC cruise n comfort Air Conditioner, Induction cooktop, and a full AC/DC electric system across the van. * Custom Rixens hydronic heating system, which provides on demand hot water, forced hot air, and hydronic heated floors and water tanks. This system runs on a tap in the van gas tank, so as long as you have > ⅓ tank, you always have hot water, heat, and cozy toes. * 56 gallons of fresh water capacity (32 gallon fixed tank + 24 gallons of plumbed in aux / portable tanks), 7 gallons of grey capacity, an indoor shower with recirculating ability, an outdoor shower, and a filtered drinking water system. * A 110 liter Dometic CRX 110s stainless compressor refrigerator, 2 burner induction cooktop, deep stainless steel sink w/ integrated drying rack, and magnetic knife block. * Ecoboost engine + factory AWD paired with upsized BFG K02s, aluminess rear door spare tire carrier and a VanCompass topo 2.0 lift kit with red coil springs, rear shock relocation brackets, and rear sumo springs make for a very capable rig, on and off road. * All cabinetry and other van features built strictly with high quality baltic birch and/or 80/20 aluminum extrusion. * Integrated composting toilet and garbage slide outs, with plenty of other storage available in cabinets in the living area, or in the large garage under the bed.
