I just got back from a one year adventure all across the country. This van is the perfect home on wheels! The van has all the comforts of home, tons of storage, a great off grid electrical system, and it looks super cute too! I converted the van myself with the help of my engineer dad and electrician brother. Nissans are the most mechanically sound cargo vans. It has a manufacturers warranty until 100,000 miles or 5 years. All maintenance/oil changes were done at the dealership. No mechanical issues! Drives amazingly! Also, if you’re looking to tow - this is the van for you! Insulation is spray foam and 1 inch XPS ridged foam board 2 inch for the ceiling. The van stays nice and warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. There are is a brand new 100Ah Lithium battery mounted under the van, which is charged by the alternator and the two 100 watt solar panels mounted in the roof. This powers the lights, refrigerator, Maxxair vent fan, and two double USB plugs in the back of the van by the bed. There is a 110 plug in the front of the van to charge anything while you’re driving. Storage above the cab, a secret drawer under the driver’s seat. Amazing, up to date radio with display. Back up camera! Back windows! Kitchen cabinets have tons of room for storage, supplies, food, there’s even a tall closet to hang your clothes! Room for a cassette or composting toilet as well! Plumbing works great! An electric sink faucet takes water from a removable 7 gallon fresh water tank to the perfectly sized bar sink, the water drains to a grey water tank mounted under the van with a faucet for easy drainage. The bed platform is 4.5 feet wide (standard full size) and 70 feet long (just a little shorter than full size) I sleep diagonally or length wise to stretch out. Under the bed is all storage with sliding doors to partition but give easy access. The walls and ceiling are light weight panel board not heavy wood! So you’re not wasting any gas money! They’re covered in cute wallpaper that can be replaced if you’re prefer a different finish. Solid, water proof stick on flooring over latch in vinyl flooring. Plywood subfloor and 1 inch XPS insulation. The Maxxair fan works amazingly at cooling down the van and is the best vent fan for vanlife. There is a bench with storage so you can sit in the door of the van and admire the view. There’s a hook in the back of the van to hang a solar shower and a curtain rod for privacy.
