Seller's Description
A 2000 Ford E-350 that has no trouble pulling her weight through mountains of adventure. She was converted from church shuttle bus to the open road. She just accompanied us on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, braving the winding, steep roads within the Appalachian mountains from Georgia to Maine with no problems. This campervan is set for off-grid excursions. She sleeps two comfortably and carries onboard a refrigerator, single burner propane stove for cooking, propane heater for staying warm in winter, and a 200w solar panel which more than adequately powers interior lighting, the fridge, and USB ports and outlets to charge your devices. There is plenty of storage underneath the sleeping area and underneath the kitchen counter. The original bus seats have seatbelts (3) and there is a “desk” space that my husband used while working remotely. Our favorite part about this bus is all the windows and natural light – there is an extra large screened rear-side door, glass panels in the original onboarding door, and the large, original windows to let in the views, light, and breeze. She is powered by the almighty 7.3L diesel super duty engine and has 147,343 miles to her name. These engines can easily go to 500,000 so she has plenty of adventures left to take. She is 20 feet long so she fits snuggly in parking spaces on the street and in parking lots, and has dual tires in the rear making her very easy and stable to drive, even on mountain gravel/dirt roads. Since we knew we were going to be in very remote places in the mountains, we made sure she was mechanically sound before taking off. Some repairs we made were replacing the ball joints and brake vacuum pump, and installing a new cam sensor. She's passed inspection within the year and has no known mechanical issues. She is priced to sell as we are moving to NYC soon and sadly can’t take her with us. She is ready for her next adventures and comes fully equipped with everything you need to camp off-grid, including: MAIN FEATURES 105 sq feet of living space 200w solar panel - roof mounted Renogy 1000w inverter Propane stove burner Whytner 45 quart refrigerator Maxxair fan Full-sized memory foam mattress Propane heater Foot pump sink Two 6 gallon fresh water tanks 6 gallon gray water tank Screened rear-side door Portable/camp toilet Portable/camp shower Window shades for privacy Insulated Clean title!
