This is my beloved 1999 Dodge Ram B1500 Conversion Off-grid Campervan with 107k miles. I bought it in April and have driven it over 10,000 miles since, throughout the entire northern US. The conversion was done by the previous owner, an electrical engineer, and is extremely well built out. The van itself has held up nicely and mechanics always comment on how good of shape it’s in, with no rust at all. It has 2 solar panels connected to a 100W AGM battery that powers a fridge, water pump, exhaust fan (which keeps temps much cooler), and a 1100W inverter, which you can plug electronics into. This van has everything you need for comfortable living while going on incredible adventures. Other features: 4 BRAND NEW Bf Goodrich KO2 AT tires (ranked best All-Terrain tires) Bed that converts to a couch, folding up on either side Backup camera Full sink 20 gal water tank 5 gal grey water bucket that is easily emptied Blackout curtains Water hose with sprayer out the back doors Underbed plastic drawers (easily cleanable and very lightweight) Slide-out ventilation screens on both sides of the van for airflow Office chair-mat over the living area for easy cleaning Mini fire extinguisher Fishing rod holder Portable USB fan Foldable stool Shoe storage cubby Extra coolant (with funnel), engine oil, jumper cables, and flares I’m selling this because I am moving across the country for work. I have maintenance records for all work done while I’ve owned it. The water pump and front brake pads have been recently replaced, along with other regular maintenance. Spark plugs and air filters are good. The van does have some issues, as it is an older vehicle. After driving it for 3 hours in the heat a few weeks ago, the engine shut down going up a steep hill and the check engine light came on along with the code “no bu5” which indicates an electrical issue. I was able to restart it after 5 minutes but still decided to get it towed from there. There is also a small water leak along the window sealant on the back right door, but that can be easily repaired. If you want to have a mobile mechanic or anyone else come with you to do a pre-purchase inspection, please feel free. I can’t say enough about how perfect this van is for your next adventure, once you get the electrical issue fixed. My girlfriend and I lived out of it comfortably for almost a month, and I continued in it solo afterward. Let me know if you have any questions.
