Seller's Description

This vehicle started its life as a well cared for handicapped school bus in Massachusetts. We purchased it with 33,000 miles on it and started to build our dream van. It has a sizeable A/C unit run off of the motor in the rear ceiling. We have a 3000 BTU heater that is portable and runs off of propane for winter camping. The entire interior is wrapped with cedar planking and has an insulated floor of R-10, and insulated walls of R-19. We designed it to be a four-season van. A Coleman two-burner stove and a small foot-powered sink for washing dishes are installed in the counter. We have a backsplash of old license plates which keeps the bed and the kitchen separate. The floor is hickory hardwood flooring. We have 200W of solar with a brand new 100Ah Lithium-Ion Battery, installed on August 22, which runs our fridge, string lights, phone chargers, etc. We have a ceiling mount for a swing and a folding table next to the window. Dresser drawers under the bed provide ample space for clothes. A new radio with BlueTooth and a microphone provides hands-free phone calls and is connected to two 6x9 JBL speakers. Right now we have a full-size mattress in it but it could accommodate a queen too. In the back trunk area below the bed, we have a pullout storage tray for tons of gear. There is also a gondola-style box on the rear door for skis/snowboards. The ladder on the other rear door leads to climbing holds that give access to a 10x4 turf platform which we use as our rooftop backyard that also holds the mounted solar panels. There's a large door on the passenger side that makes the kitchen transform into an open-air space. Passenger seating is on a folding bench with seat belts to allow access to the bus while still utilizing the space for traveling. It can carry 3 passengers while driving and sleeps two. The leveling kit makes it sit higher than stock for extra ground clearance. Bus style door and steps to enter from the passenger side. Normal driver's side door with power window. New style headlight housing, large towing mirrors, front hitch for a bike rack, or carrying rack for extra gear/cooler. Art is installed in all of the rear windows to create a fun mural for everyone who passes. The current mileage is 43,999.4! Price reduced from last year and FIRM.
