For sale is our 2016 Ford Transit 350, 148" wheelbase, midroof height (6"), dual sliding door, rear wheel drive with approx. 93,000 miles on the odometer. If you're looking for a capable weekend rig, or maybe even for something to live out of full time, our Transit is exactly what you're looking for. Completely built out with ample living space, storage, a robust electrical system, running water, refrigerator - too many features to mention... all while sporting 10.5" of ground clearance thanks to a 2.5" VanCompass suspension lift and 32" Toyo All Terrain tires... this is an awesome van for about any application you can think of. I built this van from scratch over about a year. We traveled around the country and lived out of it for a years time with our 3 dogs, though it doesn’t get as much use now that were back in the city. Features: -Custom designed and built living space that includes bench seating, a slide out table, shelf storage, cubby storage, a kitchenette with 2 burner Dometic Propane stove, a sink with 3.5 gallon fresh and greywater tanks, LED lighting throughout the cabin, bed platform with custom memory foam mattress, laminate hardwood floors, roof vent MaxxAir fan, large “garage” storage area beneath sleeping platform. Interior is painted with an easy clean latex orange/ sunflower yellow/ teal motif, though if that wasn’t to your liking, it would be a pretty easy to repaint. -Auxiliary power is handled by a 1.) a Keyline Iso-Pro Battery/Alternator Isolator that charges the auxiliary battery while car is running, and 2.) two 100w Renogy Solarpanels routed through a 40mppt Renogy Charge controller charging a 200 amp-hour Renogy 12v AGM battery. 12v power is distributed through fuse block to LED cabin lights, MaxxAir fan, water pumps, AlpinCool fridge, and more. 1000w inverter is hardwired to auxiliary battery providing 120v for charging things like laptops, cameras, phones, etc. This electrical system is about as simple and safe yet effective as it can be. Ill provide a wiring diagram to buyer. -A VanCompass Ford Transit Terrain 2.5” suspension lift professionally installed at Savage 4x4 in Fort Meyers, Florida (I have all receipts). A quick check of VC’s website shows that you can’t even buy this suspension lift kit anymore due to a material shortage. This lift kit, paired with a set of Toyo Open Country AT 285-35-16 tires mounted on stock rims gives the van ~ 10.5” of ground clearance at the deck and ~8” at the read differential (lowest point). This is great for rutted and rocky FS roads, and the AT tires provide plenty of grip- there are few places that this 2wd van can’t go. Build is functional, hard-wearing, and simple- however some of the finish and trim is missing or lacking in spots- some small cosmetic things that I never got around to finishing or fixing, however none of it effects the overall functionality of the van. There are also two baseball sized dents on the exterior of the van- passenger side front pillar, a tree branch fell and hit the van. Second dent is passenger side rear top- the 4x4 shop that did the suspension work backed the van into their vehicle lift. Neither dent is all that noticeable nor do they effect opening and closing of doors. Asking $32,000 or best offer. I’m happy to spend the time with potential buyers explaining any and all questions regarding the van and build, this is a great van and I’m sorry to see it go but we just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it.
