I converted this van to be able to handle all seasons & chase storms from New England to the PNW and everywhere in between! This van build allowed me to comfortably travel & stay in any mountain conditions. The rugged V6 3.0L engine in the 2008 is coveted for reliability as being the last year Mercedes built Sprinters DEF free! On my journey of building out this van, I had one goal in mind and that was to build a rig that was efficient, sustainable, and comfortable enough to chase snow storms all winter! The completed conversion was built with 10 years construction experience & spared no expense on any parts. It has been designed for comfort and capability. The main galley features creative wrap around countertops. A black walnut bench slab that doubles as more counter space. Ample storage provided by the birch hardwood cabinetry, shelves and nooks. Large hidden hamper/blanket boxes as well spacious overhead shelving. Located behind the driverseat is a hidden wet cabinet complete with faucet, 7 gallon fresh water tank, rolling dometic cassette tray & collapsible sink basin. The 12v electrical system was designed & installed by a certified marine electrician with top of the line components. The system was designed with 3 different energy efficient charging solutions. Installed strategically for easy access to power bank system at slider. A 200 watt Renogy solar array with bluetooth connectivity. Mastervolt B2B Alternator Smart Isolator Charger to top off the system while driving. Shore power system featuring the Intellipower 9200 Converter for seamless dock charging.
