We chose this van from professional upfitter VanDoIt after about a year of research for two main reasons: 1) the safety features of a stock passenger van (airbags & car seat attachments) and 2) the modular versatility offered by the build (can seat between 2-8 depending on how many stock seats you add). After a great year and some awesome road trips, we’re looking to size up into a truck/travel trailer setup. Some of the features: Thule awning, 400w solar on the roof w/ 300Ah battery bank and 2000w converter, Dometic CFX3 55 fridge, Lagun table, Espar heater powered by main gas tank (super efficient), shore power hookup, 110 and USB outlets all over, LED dome lights + blue accent light, outside cargo lights (rear and passenger side), roof rack, gear slide, lower and raise bed w/ hydraulic system, still under manufacturer warranty, insulated window covers w/ pockets, bug screens for side slider and rear doors. It sleeps 2 comfortably but we fit just fine as a family of 4 (mom and 2 littles perpendicular on the queen bed, dad on the floor w/ air mattress).
