The van has its fair share of rust and dents on the outside! If you are not a T1N enthusiast, do a little researching and you will become one! This van by itself is amazing. It will take you at least another 300,000 miles if maintained properly. MECHANICAL: -only work to be done is Glowplugs in the future This van is very mechanically sound. We have never broken down. All repairs have been preventative maintenance to avoid being stranded. We have kept great care of the van in our time owning it, and can confirm that the company who sold it to us held true to their words as well. There are NO SIGNS OF BLACK DEATH: “Black death” has been one of the few reasons these T1N engines fail. It is when fuel injectors fail/leak and the unburnt fuel causes carbon buildup. We remove the cover and check the injectors every couple weeks. Never had any signs of bad seals. *NEEDS GLOW PLUG CHANGE in the future (parts included with purchase). There are glow plug codes stored on the van, and they should be changed for winter.
