I went the extra mile to convert this camper van. Decorated with vintage road maps and bits of collectibles from my journeys, I wanted it to have a more artistic flair, than the plastic and sparkle of a commercial unit. It is equipped with a 40 gallon freshwater tank, a 30 gallon, under mounted gray water tank, an inside shower, which doubles as a “bathroom’, with a SmartJon composting toilet, and a clothing closet. It has a large sink with a gooseneck faucet. An on-demand LP water heater provides hot water. The electrical system starts with a 280 amp hour lithium iron phosphate battery bank, an AIMS 3000 W pure sine wave inverter/charger, and a 40 amp Renogy DC to DC charger connected to the alternator, and a shore power hook up. There are LED overhead and under cabinet lights as well as multiple electrical and USB outlets. Victron and SeeLevel monitors keep an eye on everything. Other features include a Costway double compartment pull out fridge, a permanent queen size bed, a passenger swivel seat, a fold down table, Maxx fan with remote, and LP heater. There are two Arctic Tern operable windows with built in screens and blinds, and insulated and reflective window coverings for the cab windows. On top is a roof rack with a deck. It’s a great place to bring a chair up and watch the sunset, or read a book. Lots of storage in the cabinets make it easy to bring everything you need. There’s also a ton of room under the bed in the “garage“ and even an outdoor shower faucet! These vans are nimble, and easy to drive and get great gas mileage for their size. (About 17-19 MPG) There’s no feeling like driving anywhere you want and bringing a home with you! It does have a rebuilt title, from an accident early in its life. (Before it was converted.) it’s been 38,000 trouble free miles since then. There is a slight dent in the “forehead” from an low hanging garage door that wasn’t watching where it was going. That may or may not be fixed soon. I will be happy to discuss any questions you have!
