This is your sign to make vanlife your summer project! I'm not getting much use out of this van these days, so it's time to find her a new home. $30k OBO. This van is totally functional and is ready for adventures. She’s even got a fold-out couch (in addition to a full-sized bed) and custom seat for a small-to-medium dog copilot! She’s quirky, and there are a few cosmetic fixes and lingering projects I haven't gotten around to, so I'm selling at a discount. I do think she's got plenty of life left in her though— these engines are supposed to last forever, and she's had plenty of maintenance and upkeep to keep her going. Perfect for someone who's up for some DIY camper van projects, but doesn't want to take on a whole conversion. History: She's a retired FedEx van. I bought her from someone who did the whole conversion himself in 2020 but needed to move suddenly and sold it 2021. She became my baby, and I made some additions of my own (the fold-out "couch bed", installed a Webasto heater). There are some projects I bought the parts for but never got around to (bought an additional window and skylight I never installed)— perhaps these could be your projects! Key specs: Solar: - 400W Solar (2 x 200W Nupowa solar panels) - 200 AH Lithium Renogy batteries (replaced in 2023) - 2000W Renogy Pure Sin Wave Inverter - 40 amp EPEVER MPPT Charge Controller - 40 amp Renogy DC to DC Charger - 2 USB charging outlets - 2 12-volt outlets - 2 AC outlets Other things: - TONS of storage - Fold-out "couch bed" for lounging - 3 burner gas oven range - 3.8 cubic foot DC fridge with freezer - Maxxfan Deluxe 5100k - Custom-made compostable toilet (under one seat in the cabin of the van), urine diverter with fan which vents outside - 43 gallon water tank - Shurflo water pump, strainer, and accumulator - 8 recessed dimmable LED ceiling lights - EcoTemp Instant hot water shower in rear of the van - 1" Polysio or XPS insulation in all walls, ceiling, floor; ribs and wheel wells are insulated with EZ Cool - Noise dampening in cab material under the floors in the cab - Butcher block countertop - Frame for full size mattress - Webasto diesel heater (draws from main tank) - Working AC and heat in the cab - Removable dog copilot station! Built it so my dog could come with me on adventures, but if you aren't traveling with dog, it's also great for road snacks. Lingering projects: - 40G water tank needs to be replaced (friend accidentally put diesel in it), not expensive or hard to do I just never got around to it (under $200) - Backup camera has a black spot on the screen & doesn't stay put on its mount, may just need to be replaced - Minor rust scrapes on exterior (notably no rust on the undercarriage, which has a rubberized coating!) - In one of the interior cabinets, one of the hydraulic arms needs to be replaced (also like $10, just need to do it) - Locking system is finicky, you can reliably lock/unlock the van but there are weird tricks to get it to work (will explain more if interested) - The passenger seat isn't terribly comfortable (it's a small fold-out seat), although I've done plenty of 2-person road trips and been fine. It can be replaced.
